2pac was a huge influence to me through his lyrics of understanding and his ability to paint multiple pictures of a very real reality. If I can recommend a few songs from me to you, they would be: 1. Unconditional Love by 2Pac 2.Until The End of Time RP Remix - 2Pac. 3.Trading War Stories by 2Pac 4.R U Still Down by 2Pac 5.Me Against The World by 2pac

2pac's songs weren't exactly chronologically getting sadder, rougher, etc. There are just many facets of individual people that you can write an uplifting song, a song about things you struggle with, and a party song all in the same week, month, year. So many tears and dear momma were released the same year in 1995. 2pac rapped/wrote in the moment, whatever that moment was, whatever was on his mind. In 93' song titles like Strugglin, Soujah's revenge, Keep your head up, and I get around. So I wouldn't say he chronologically sank into some deep abyss that he couldn't escape. He was already there day 1 telling everyone about it through his raps.

thank you so much for noticing 2pacs tone. soooooooooooooooo many rappers are great with the rapping part and all the aspects of being an emcee and thats great, but 2pac's music made you FEEL what he saying. you felt his pain or anger or even one of my fav 2pac songs ''str8 ballin'' where you can feel the charisma oozing off him. as long as people are still out there living the same struggles he talked about 2pacs music will be timeless.

I've been listening to the original (Stevie Wonder's-That Girl) for the last 3 days!❤ As Tupac grew and was seeing life for what it was for HIM, his hopes for a solid life started to wane! He saw too much, too fast, and was still trying to process it all.. WHILE BEING A STAR!😢

This is the most morbid song by Pac standards. It takes you down a deep and dark state of mind and in the end you ask yourself, what possesses a 20 some odd year to write like this ?
@BornstellarMakesEternalLasting6 ай бұрын
Why would a 20 something write like this? The things he has been through, or the things he heard about or seen second hand. I was born in 83, and as a 4 year old I was obsessed with death, and dying. Still am. The privilege few who never have to witness hopelessness, could never understand how quickly it ages you, so you see a 20 something, but in some ways he was way older than that, in other ways he was way younger. Just my opinion, take it or toss it.

Hello Miss Charlene, I don’t know if you’re aware but at the time of Tupac’s video for this song he was locked up for the assault charge so he wasn’t able to be apart of the video shoot. To my knowledge that’s a body double. And what he’s talking about coincide with what he’s going through at that very moment. So that’s why people call him a prophet sometimes, it’s like he spoke things into existence, or spoke as if he knew he didn’t have much more time left.

I like your reviews they are so real. This Is my all rime favorite Pac song he speaks to my experiences to the letter. This song resonated with me when it came out fresh out of prison walking through the streets of East Oakland. I could hear this playing from cars. The instrumentation the bigness of the sound, and Pacs voice and words are piercing through. At the time, no other rapper displayed as much raw emotion and pain on a song. This was more or less the first of its kind. In my humble opinion, that is.

I think it would really help understand his songs and his lyrics, to watch the documentaries on his life. Starting with resurrection as I do believe this one has the best clarity to who he really was (not to mention that it’s all narrated in his own voice by editing the endless audio of him out in the world today). When a person knows his story better they’re able to pick up on his lyrics and connect to them better

He actually has a hip hop masterclass at M.I.T. I think you’d really enjoy many of his songs, but I think you should start with „Hurt me soul“ and „he said, she said“, Lupe will really show you that hip hop is capable of even more depth than you may have previously imagined.
