Great stuff. Really enjoying this setup. Gonna try and copy it. From jam to tune easily is what I am after. I have no ability to sit with an idea for days. It’s done in the moment and this allows that more than my current set up.

Is the cable from the HX a - Twin 1/4" Jack Y-Cable to 3.5 jack? Or is there an adapter in between ? Thanks

Nice work! I have a Blackbox and a Syntakt in my live EDM setup much for the same reasons: the blackbox as multitrack looper (and multisamples sometimes) and sidechain pumping of external synths by the Syntakt. Great jam, I enjoyed that!

Oooh, the 'compressor' use is very interesting. I know completely what you mean about instruments/drum machines sounding seperate because you don't have a master compressor (also master 'ambience' reverb I guess would help). How easy is balancing levels of drums/guitar inside the digitakt?

For sure!! Love a good master compressor.. and I really dig the elektron one especially ⚡️ Balancing levels is easy because of the blackbox, but if you were stacking in a traditional looper I imagine it might get a bit messy

Hello All, i thought about this combo and came to following question: The price of the Digitakt and the 1010 ist the same as for the octatrack. Should i buy the octatrack or has this combo advantage over it? Thanks for all ideas and best regards Daniel :)

Oof too many differences for me to note all at once but I think both are great options honestly. This combo gives you way more individual tracks but the Octatrack has awesome FX routing that this doesnt

A suggestion is to route midi from the Digitakt 2 to the HX Stomp so if you use delays they are synced!
