Ultraman is a franchise that is different from Kamen Rider and Super Sentai. The sub genre of Tokusatsu that Ultraman is from is known as Giant Hero as the Ultra's are beings that regularly fight what would be considered Godzilla Class Threats. Basically, kaiju. But they also fight alien invasions as well. The main thing that I find common in all the opening theme songs of Ultraman is the message of "Hope".

The company that created Ultraman was actually founded by one of the main special effects guys from the early Godzilla movies, and some classic Ultraman monsters were actually modified Toho monster costumes (including one modded from Godzilla himself).

Here some information about the ultra series after Mebius: After the mebius series and the ultra movie, all the series are limited to 24 episodes because they are currently limited in terms of money. This happened because of a stupid incident that was started by a company from Thailand.

Tiga, Dyna and Gaia still remain as most fantastic and epic ultraman series ever. Heisei's era just hit different. Getting goosebumps everytime I rewatched it. Meanwhile best opening for me is definitely Nexus and Orb. Nexus also served a more mature plot.

Ultraman started in 1966, so you definitely missed a ton from 1966 to around 1995-6 which is where I assume Ultraman Tiga started, also, there's three more after trigger (the last one on this video), Ultraman Decker, Blazar and Arc, though there's tons of extra seasons outside of the main seasons, like Netflix seasons and stuff that, I suggest reacting to the longest video, even if it's devided in parts
