When cutting thick steel, apply a little beeswax to the sides of the blade to reduce friction and improve heat dissipation. Milwaukee has an equivalent model, too. These saws are time savers compared to angle grinders and bandsaws. Also, with a straight edge, very accurate and clean cuts can be made. The only negative is that the sparks created limit their use around flammable materials.

How long approximately does a blade last? Very nice Iam about to buy one. I'll be cutting 20 and 18 gauge steel studs maybe 16 gauge too

can you cut meta as good as this on regular circular saw if using same or similar metal cutting blade? What is the difference?

These should have slower speeds and higher torque. You can cut very thing extruded alumnus with a normal miter or circ saw without changing the blade.
