The ascension tech is grapple. Then before you hit the point where you started the grapple, hit ascension. Add blink/jump or grapple melee after or a combo of the 2 for added effect

QD + Snap on a High Impact is absurd. When they murder snapshot or opening shot, it will still be a really competitive sniper.

for the ascension movement you need to grapple, and when youre at the end of the grapple animation at top speed, use ascension to end the grapple animation early and get launched

I've been using embraced identity as my sniper, was using it to guild my flawless this weekend. It's easily farmable and I use moving target opening shot on it. It can get up to 74 aim assistance and let me tell you. Ive hit some absolute nutty stuff with it

Only reason you don't like snipers is because you can't move in close.. many if us feels like shotguns on pc players us the worst.. cause we can't follow it on console.. you move way way to fast. Only right thing is to buff snipers again. Alot of us love them like you love shotguns and strand.

it kinda stupid how much snipers flinch, even with flinch resist mods, max resil and 80+ stability on some snipers. you still get flinched to the god damn moon by a shy's wrath at 40m out Edit:i almost forgot wolven hunter exotic helm giving more flinch resist that does jack

Everyone always goes for snapshot opening, but my favorite combo remains moving target opening shot. The double bonus to aim assist and target acquisition is too good imo. I guess it's bc I'm not a quick scoper too much and usually strafe peek with it so moving helps more than snapshot for me

they made it so flinch works differently. i dont exactly remember what it was they changed but it has something to do with how the scope moves when you get shot.

@FAUXCUSpd ya the flinch stuff I remember reading but what I mean is snipers in general don't feel as good anymore like I have a really good Mercurial Overreach roll (corkscrew, ricochet rounds, snap, opening, short hand stock, and range mw) I expected this sniper to be the best but it's kinda been disappointing me even my beloved just feels ok now and it was my go to sniper
