Every time listen to this it's like hearing it for the first time. I get so caught up in the piano and guitar section. It's like the piano and guitar are communicating. Unbelievable.

A Brian May composition, supposedly about a girl he admired but couldn't get up the courage to approach. Looking for lyric video? Have a look at 'Death on Two Legs', it's about an early manager who was robbing them blind - Freddie was NOT happy and this was the result. The lyric video allows us to appreciate the full venom and vitriol of Freddie's feelings about the guy.

Queen have always been an album band..the majority of tracks have been what u havnt heard on the radio or in the charts..the true gems of the queen catalogue..

You’re description of the piano is exactly how I felt when I first heard this. Iv been a Queen fan since the mid 70’s and had never heard this song until last year. The instrumental section is musical perfection. It’s contrasts with the screaming guitar and the ominous tones Freddie uses on the piano create a haunting sound that still gives me shivers. Without wishing to sound morose , I want this played at Max volume at my funeral!! Brilliant reaction. Thank you

You must react to Death on Two Legs....I had it on today and it reminded to tell you. Freddie wrote it about their first manager who was royally ripping them off. Freddie at his most vicious. Nobody messed with him! Do the lyric video if you do it so you see the words. 😂

Brian wrote this song in the 60's about a girl he didn't talk to but loved very much. She left and he never had any mental closure. This song is about unrequited love. Young man sees a beautiful woman in his town and never has the guts to talk to her. She left the town never knowing the the young man even existed.

Queen and Freddie's voice were at their peak in the 70's, for me the last proper album was The Game, after that in the 80's something was missing that early albums had, that edge.

I don’t mean to be contrary, but it’s not accurate to say that the past wasn’t rich or updated to this kind of songs. Think of Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin in the early 70s. Unfortunately Queen had to wait a little more due to choices they had to make in their lives. They are still exceptional. But back then the music scene was something that we probably hardly ever can imagine. (I was born in 1981).
