The Juki is a joy to sew with. You will find that if you want to go slow the pedal is very sensitive and if you just gently press it it will go as slow as you want. I have never felt the need for a slow setting with this machine. Great purchase!

I don't know who the manufacturer is of these machines, but mine is exactly the same but it says BabyLock on it. I love that machine. I love her for bindings!

I also bought the same model last week & awaiting delivery. I got it for the speed in straight stitching & bobbin changes. I have a Bernina 475 QE, which is great for piecing n & embellishments but too slow for straight line quilting, borders, & binding. I can't wait after seeing your unboxing. Next, I can't wait to see your quilty projects. Are you taking lessons or in a guild?

No - I would not have the patience for that. I admire people that do it but I need things that I can turn around relatively quick.
