Ooh. Can’t wait either! I’ve been thinking about adding one to my orchid collection but never made the jump. I was thinking a paphiopedilum or maybe a lycaste! Anyway, hope you have a great weekend. Happy growing! 😍❤️

The La Paz Amaryllis is gorgeous. 😍 Hopefully you will find some more varieties before your husband hides your car keys. 😸✌️

I’ve really been enjoying your videos. Love the arrangement above the fireplace. 😍😍 You seem to do the research and don’t act like you know everything, as some plant KZbinrs do. Thanks!! ❤️😸✌️

Thanks for checking out so many of my vids!! ❤️ No one person has all the answers - it takes a community of people. Always learning and growing.

It’s still amazing to me that lady slippers orchids grow in Wisconsin, it just seems so weird that orchids would grow naturally in the Midwest of all places. Absolutely beautiful flowers!

I have one and managed to keep it alive with new fan foliage however she’s never bloomed again. It sure is a learning curve to the phalanopsis orchids to which I have many and are constantly blooming. I hope one day I figure out what I’m missing for my lady slipper orchid.

Someone else was telling me the same thing! So def. On my radar. Potting and fertilizer is different than your average orchid…

You need to watch reading only one set of care instructions for one kind of orchid. The green leaf, long leaf paphs like Rothschildianum take different levels of light, and are lithophites. Every 7 days watering would kill a paph if you live in a dry location. Phrogmipediums, the South American slipper orchid, needs nearly full sun (still filtered) and can be (need to be) overwatered. So there are lots of types and issues. I have about 20 of them.
