Nice project and Good content, In regards to the 45 pitch on the slide carb, think the angle will be effected when the wheel and weight are on the bike when the frame sits closer to the shock mount. Might not be the best idea but when you cut the manifold, you could do an angle cut, weld in the bolt holes then re-drill, to change the angle of the holes to match. Which should level things off whilst bringing it lower.

Thank you. I have since tightened it all up and didn’t have to go that far into it for it to work. Appreciate the advice but I was able to make it for a lot easier fortunately for me. Thanks again.

I’m so new to the ruckus game, but I am absolutely in love with these things. Gonna get one this summer. I have a question. Are these motors complete? Or in need of upgrades? I’d like to comfortably do 60-70 with traffic.
@burnoutbobby2 жыл бұрын
The stock motor will not go close to that mph. You will need to do a gy6 swap and some mods to cruise at that speed. Looking to invest about 2500 into it to make that happen.
@DaleB8092 жыл бұрын
Awsome looking forward to the new series. Quick question. I have sliders. What is the best for quick response and high end speed Thank you
@burnoutbobby2 жыл бұрын
That’s an open question really. It’s all based off your weight/mph/ rpm you are at. Then you go from there.
@phillipmurphy16712 жыл бұрын
Awesome setup so far. I have a question, I’m doing a build and have the same mount as you’re using and am wanting to do a 14-15” stretch as well. Did you have to notch out the rear frame if you didn’t shorten by 2”?
@burnoutbobby2 жыл бұрын
The only thing I had to do was notch out the mount for that pitch.

Where were the front frame side covers from and if you can give the price of them
@burnoutbobby2 жыл бұрын
I got them from my buddy koyo. I don’t remember the price. I want to say 130 and 90 to ship them. It’s probably more now as everything has gone up.

Why don't you set your sights on a Honda bite gy6 build. Looks more of your style with that wicked seat design you come up with
@burnoutbobby2 жыл бұрын
Something to look into !
@psychouki2 жыл бұрын
@@burnoutbobby the parts are a little more rare but I'm positive they run gy6s on them. It's alot more to do as far as getting the mount built for it if you're going to do something custom which being you I know you will. I think you'd make one badass Honda Bite and it takes essentially a bicycle seat with almost the same style frame you build on your gy6 ruckus.
