I’m a retired hairdresser and I think your new haircut looks awesome , your new hairdresser 💇 I would say stick with her she has blended the hair beautifully , Not all hairdresser can do a great haircut so when you find one stick with her , I have a similar haircut and travel 40 minutes to my hairdressers because of the great cutting skills she has , I am 73 years old and have wavy hair, 😊

I'm 71 and have had an undercut pixie since late June of 2020 ( first COVID haircut.) Your haircut looks great on you. I'm not a hairdresser, but I think the best hair cut is the one that the client can deal with on a daily basis. YOU styled your hair beautifully! Wish we were friends.

I actually like it and even the back more than the front I would leave the back like it is and have the front just a pinch longer all in all I don't mind it at all ..and yeah 3 weeks 💯 and stop worrying the back is 10/10

You are great at styling your own hair. Any hairstylist that says they dont do a haircut because they dont like it--isnt a good stylist! Run!!! You dont go to get your hair cut the way the stylist likes it--you want it the way you like it!!!

Cute hairdo! ! I’m 76 and when I was young my sister went to beauty school to be a hairdresser. I was, of course, the Guinea pig. One time she cut my hair and I looked like Captain Kangaroo! I told her that and I never forgot what she told me! ‘It’s only hair-it will grow back”! I still tell women that to this day! 😂

Everyone seems to bring up their career status from the hair industry as if it lends credibility. Among other qualifications, I'm a retired hair cutting instructor of 20 yrs. The person who gave you this haircut has no respect for her customers. Your satisfaction level will vary throughout your relationship. She will let you down when having a perfect cut is most important to you - probably by cutting your hair way too short when you're having family pictures made, or some other important event. The cut lacks length that offers hints of feminity. From the sides to the nap of the neck it's not attractive from some angles. Not every hairdo is flattering from all angles, but why limit the chances? From what I could tell by the video the neckline is cut straight across the back. This is unflattering (masculine) to most women. Even with a Bobb haircut where we see this most, it can be a problem. For the Pixie the bottom should be cut in a subtle "V" which lends to a more feminine silhouette from the side and back view. I'm sorry you've had to tackle the quest for a new stylist. Best wishes!

I'm 84 and have had a pixie cut for a long time. Get it cut every 4 to 5 weeks. Back looks great. So easy to take care of...will continue to be a pixie cut girl...always get compliments. Find & use the right products...then it will be great. Love neat & easy...and still fashionable.

@@judyhurn7045 but thats another problem with pixie or other very short cuts. They are high maintenance. I cut my own hair now. I’ve watched salon girls cut my hair all my adult live so during Covid I tried it myself and since, I get compliments all the time. And you can go longer without a cut with a bob. Just maybe trim the bangs which you can do yourself.

I’m 75. Because I’m working, still coloring my hair. Don’t think my gray will compliment my skin tone anyway, but haven’t tried it yet. Someday soon. I’ve had 3 surgeries this past year and my hair has thinned out on top and at the crown and it’s pretty fine. All that to say I’m glad to see what you’re able to do with your hair and how nice it looks. I used to wear my hair short like that and think I want to go back. Thanks for the inspiration.😊
