G singing the knickers song in Welsh is fricking funny! It's only been one series and already enjoying it. I have walk between Shotton and Hawarden Bridge and it roughly only 10 minutes between the two. Cannot wait to see more of North Wales, it is underrated as there a lot of awesome places

Lovely part of the world to explore! I did some once with the aid of my BR staff travel card and my trusty touring bicycle from Euston to Bangor, over a four day rostered long weekend ending with the Severn Valley Railway and back to Euston. Top marks for kicking it off on St David's day too.! Are you also going to visit all the north Wales narrow gauge stations...?

Wonderful new series G! G to the nth degree! Will you be doing a series on South Wales too? Especially since Cardiff is your favourite place on earth. Great that there are plenty of your favourite barrow crossings in Wales too. Fantastic Welsh rendition of the Knickers Song. Loved it! Diolch yn fawr iawn!! I could'nt see your Tomato Sauce vlog live last week but did get to see it repeated. I can't always get it live here in the U.S. 😀

Thrilled that you are doing the new series in North Wales, never know we might accidentally meet up again (as we did at Workington). Also thrilled that it appears that you are going to do the Cambrian Coast line - you will LOVE it - try to do it in summer (and watch out for the extended line closure over the Barmouth Bridge during Autumn 2022). And finally - I URGE you to walk over the Barmouth Bridge between Barmouth and Morfa Mawddach on the walkway adjacent to the line!

Im gonna enjoy this series. I live right next to the stations at Shotton. You were no more than 2 mins away from my house there. Yes Hawarden is said as Harden. You did get lucky there too cos there a regular cancellations on that line. When those class 230's eventually go into service they hope to run 2 trains each way so it will be a half hourly service. However there is currently a dispute with the freight operators over available track times. Keep up the good work tho G 👍

A new series. Oh yes this looks exciting. You should do visiting stations in the Northeast of England. And as you are in North Wales and travelling on Transport for Wales. You be pleased to know that they have completed the refurbishment of the Class 158 Sprinter Express. Plus was that Class 230 D-Train in service or was it on test run.

What I've heard about request stops is that the default for drivers is to stop, but they bell the guard, and if they guard is in the back of the train and confident that nobody needs to alight, they give the right-away.

What an awesome scarf. Where can I get one? I haven't done any of Wales aside from a couple of stops on the Cambrian Coast line. I've done Tamworth high and low level, and Smethwick Galton Bridge high and low level. Very odd that Shotton's platforms are separate, since Hackney Downs and Hackney Central are 2 stations right next to each other on separate lines with a dedicated walkway between them. And that shot showed a 56 on a RHTT set, so either you got numbers wrong or there was a 66 on the back. Nice GBRf 66 later in the video tho. Surprised you didn't bounce back and forth between stations to do more within the time. I've not seen a TfW 230 yet. I've ridden on LNWR''s 230004 though, on the Marston Vale line.
