I’m always interested in how a country treats its dogs. That tells me a lot about the country. When I travelled I always ate what the locals ate and I often noticed the stray dog population. I once fed a pack of stray dogs who looked like they were starving in Acapulco on the beach and a woman told me they would often get rocks thrown at them by locals.

I have seen your TV show in America. Also a Swedish friend from Lulea sent me videos of Murmansk back in the 1990's. He was teaching Russians how to operate businesses in a Capitalistic society. I think the videos were just about the area but were illegal. Thirty years ago the USSR was a big secret. I hope it does not return to that. Russians deserves better.

Where I live, the average daily rented apartment will cost you about $200 per day but with very little charm. Interesting to see the Soviet front doors, looks like epoxy counted steel plate? Why such heavy security for a residential apartment and not a bank?
