I’m always interested in how a country treats its dogs. That tells me a lot about the country. When I travelled I always ate what the locals ate and I often noticed the stray dog population. I once fed a pack of stray dogs who looked like they were starving in Acapulco on the beach and a woman told me they would often get rocks thrown at them by locals.
