Unlike many dietitians following their career in nutrition, my path unfolded quite differently. I call myself a non-traditional dietitian since I never worked in the hospital or had a food service job. I finished my bachelors degree in Mexico 5 years ago. Move to the USA practice my English and now I’m working in retail. I think I can make more money with my degree but I need to valid my degree from Mexico and then register as a dietitian. Idk where to start I believe a loose my time.

If you want to practice as a dietitian in the US, you'll have to get registered here and I believe that starts with doing a dietetic internship. You'll need to apply to the programs.

Hello, I’m researching into remote internships. From my understanding in order to get my supervised practice I need a preceptor in the area in which I’d like to work? Could you do a video on how to get a preceptor or a video on your journey to becoming an RD? Currently in my undergrad and I would love to hear your story. Great videos!!!

Thanks for the video ideas! I did not do a remote internship, so not sure I have the best advice on that. But I did have to find an RD preceptor for my "rotation of choice." I could talk about that. Appreciate the ideas.
