Let's take a step back and assess this: 1. This man is building complex structures, using his carpentry skills, BY HIMSELF. This would be a challenge in any environment. But... 2. He is doing this in cold-ass Alaska, with seemingly very limited resources around there. 3. He is doing this with spectacular cinematography, which doesn't just happen on its own. He, or in conjunction with his partner, works hard at this and knows their way around. 4. All the while being a great dog dad and grandfather. 5. As I have said before, this man knows what he is doing. And I can tell from his facial expressions and the way he treats his dog and grandkids, that he is a good guy.

You’ve made me want to live in Alaska……but only if you build my cabin. Your work is inspiring. My dad taught me carpentry..rough and fine, plumbing, electrical, heating, cement work, painting, wallpapering, furniture finishing, ceramic tile work, brick laying, and roofing. I grew up watching, learning, and it paid off. I never had to pay for a repair in any of my homes. My dad had no sons. 😊

I never got to know my grandparents, they lived extremely far away and we didn't have the money to go see them. So watching you with your grandkids is like fulfilling wishes that I had as a young girl. I always loved helping my Dad with any chores of repairs he would make, my brothers were never interested. I was a weirdo, loved working and building things with wood even though the opportunities were few and far in between. Seeing the wonderful lessons and memories you are creating for your kids and grandkids gives me hope for the future generations. Just with there were more people like you and your family. God Bless you all!
