Have Yamaha HS8's and they are super flat for a perfect reference, have no noise and they bump. Use them for music and video production. You can go smaller with the HS7's or 5's to fit your set up--and if you want to keep with the white theme, all speaker models in the HS Line also come in white. Keep on rockin.
@haydin96057 ай бұрын
My best guess is you're getting some additional noise coming from the PreSonus bluetooth, which typically can cause some interference in the chain. That's why bluetooth isn't featured in a lot of reference monitors...just a guess though.

Great speakers (Yamaha HS8's, 7's, 5's) I have the 8's and 5's. Love them. I also have the Mackie HR824, which are super clean and super flat. Fully adjustable depending on your speaker position in the room.

Hey dude audio engineer here! For new monitors I’d recommend either the Yamaha HS5s (yes I have a pair at home) or if u don’t mind spending a little more, you can get a pair of Genelec 8030C. I’ve used them dozens of times in studios and they have really deep clear low end at low volumes, which is hard to find especially in non treated settings!

Yamaha HS5 monitors are the standard for music studios due to their flat response and true sound. Highly recommend I’ve had mine for 5 years👍🏼

I have the same ProArt monitor and I absolutely love it! I don't think I can ever go back to another monitor. The Curve is not extreme like it with most gaming monitors. the wide screen is perfect to run both PC and Mac OS at the same time! haha not a normal function but still awesome that I can remote into the MAC while running a my Dell workstation! I have had for almost year now you'll have pry it from my dead hands! haha I hope if I ever get to become a picture editor they allow me us it on an AVID set up!

Speaker recommendation: Edifier speakers. They have good lows and mid range. The upper models can pair with Bluetooth and even with a separate small under desk subwoofer.

Awesome and simple setup. Love the white aesthetics. I've been toying with getting the white ZV-E1, Rodemic & Rodecaster. They look great

Great video, thanks for the tour! And thanks for the honesty about the speakers. It's refreshing to hear the good and the not so recommended. I lOVE the sound from my JBL 305P MkII 5 inch studio monitors. Strong and balanced bass, clear treble and mids. And they maintain true fidelity to what the mic captures (which means you'll want to add some EQ if you watch a movie with them). They're near-field, so angles matter, and that took some getting used to. But should work well with a single user desk set-up. Probably twice the cost of the Pre-Sonos, but worth the investment imo (and I tend to be cheap, but I love these speakers). Oh, and one more thing- they come in white. :) Some other popular options- KRK and Yamaha.

Hi Landom. I replaced a couple of audio monitors for work in the studio or when i editing video. And I must say that GENELEC 8020 are top. Clean flat sound and they sound beautiful. Many professional studios use them, they have been on the market for many years and they come from Sweden so the quality is there for sure. Presonus, M audio, behringer they are not nearly as good quality.

Excuse me, may I ask what you think about the following deskt moun? It can hold both your monitor and laptop at the same time, allowing you to rotate them 360° and elevate them to the better viewing height . In addition, its mounting base is not only sturdy and stable, but also saves your desktop space, there are additional cable management design to make your desktop more concise,.Would you consider buying such a desk mount for your studio?

Greetings from Germany. I am also looking for a monitor for video editing. But I see that you monitor just has 60 hz which would is fine until you edite footage with more than 60 fps. Do you have any trouble with stuttering images when editing higher frame rate footage? Is there anybody who also has experience with it? Thanks for the answer.
