One day you’ll be 90 thinking back to your current age and thinking, wow I was so young. So with this logic, you’re still in your youth and you can still do “enough” and do crazy things at any age. Obviously you can’t be a teenager again but you’re still young
@Billy-bc8pk6 ай бұрын
Everyone who did "do enough" are now regretting it and that's why the unhappiness ratings are at an all time high. The FOMO effect is to get you to do things you'll regret later and things you cannot take back and things that will permanently ruin your future. I don't understand how people your age want to rack up a ton of baggage and make yourselves more unhappy?
@GuineaPigEveryday6 ай бұрын
@@Billy-bc8pknot everything you do when ur young is ‘baggage’, FOMO can refer to just having fun, partying, socialising, doing reckless stuff does not mean crimes or immediately regretful stuff, it can just mean hanging out with new people, taking risks, trying new things, making new friends, or romance, that sort of stuff, being more bold and confident. I wish i did that when i was young, rather than lock myself up and spending the subsequent years regretting it
@Billy-bc8pk6 ай бұрын

Loved this film. I want to see it again. It’s unique & takes in being aware of now, the moments you’re currently experiencing before they’re gone (forever) so you really get to have them, because life moves so fast - it’s ephemeral. Also, I liked the subtext that her older self is living in a very different time - life has changed so much. Young Maisy doesn’t really take that in, but listen to what older Maisy is saying on the phone. You’ll hear sirens going off, she’ll say “ok everyone to the basement now!” and cuts the call short. Or she talks about “enjoy the salmon now, while you can”, etc.
