I can’t find my exact exhaust anymore for some reason, but this is the closest one to it. The muffler is shorter and it’s a little more than i paid which sucks. But if you get it, let me know how it is! a.co/d/07WSbhP2

The reliability of this bike is down to two things - you seem like a guy who looks after his bike (so checks it as needed e.g oil change etc) and you don’t seem to be someone who modifies bikes for stunting or speed, both of which can affect reliability if not done correctly. The fact you say you’re more into cruising than crotch rockets speaks volumes as to why you’ve had next to no issues with this bike…..oh that and because it’s a Honda, which at least for those of us outside the US is known for making pretty bullet proof machines lol. Can I ask what made you chose a Grom? I’m seriously torn between getting a Grom and a VanVan where majority of my riding will be suburbs to inner city (so European city not those massive cities you get in the US with 4 lanes running through them lol) Great video mate. 👍

Hey brother! Thanks for the comment, you’re totally correct, i basically grandpa this thing around town. I have been on the major highway a handful of times but a majority of my riding is smaller roads where the mph is 45 so this things rides just perfect for that. • I chose the Grom based on looks, i didn’t like the skinny and hunched over look of the Z125 (Kawasaki). I also chose it based on the endless mods you can do to them and it seems that anything you want to do to it someone has already done already so a YT vid or forum you can basically find anything! • I do exactly what you’re looking to do, i ride out of the suburbs to my place of work towards the city, i take a road that’s a small 4 lane “state route” if you will (not a major freeway but not a simple two lane road), it’s 45mph speed limit which like i said, is perfect cruising speed for me comfortably in 5th gear. Last year i rode to work and back all week and was still able to squeeze out a few more miles after hours (roughly 167 mi. To the full tank is what i got!) And going 167 miles +/- for $4 is INSANE!! I did look up the VanVan and that thing looks pretty sweet! If you get that over a grom, post some vids, I’d love to check it out.

@@KevinLavorgnaSo….since my last post, guess who bought a VanVan (and set up a new channel to record my biking adventures 😂). I will make more vids over time, but need to work out how you pros film yourself rides etc…but for now, I’ve got a 125 VanVan and absolutely love it. Just like your Grom, it’s perfect around town and the fat tyre and fat seat mean I can go over potholes and peep bumps without feeling a thing….and I can see everytime I ride it, it gets loads of looks from passers by. Next things I’m going to do is get a fender extender on the front….our British winters can be bad for bikes, so a lot of folks who have these say to do that and get a rear mud flap to protect the rear chassis shock from getting gunk on it. I’m def going to modify it, but nothing major…maybe do a handlebar mod like you’ve done on your Grom….I’ve seen some folks do a fat tyre mod, but that can be pricey and is something not everyone (bike shops) can do. It def keeps up with city traffic and I did my first over take a week ago….felt awesome 😂😂 Keep up the great work on the channel mate and thanks again for the advice 👍👏👏👏😎
