IK reached out to the community via the guys from TRC. The 360 function was highly requested by everyone, along with the smaller size and the comfort improvements. This bottle is literally the result of IK listening to their customers. I believe they will be updating the larger TR1 bottles with the comfort grip and the 360 tube once the old stock is sold through. The smaller bottle doesn't benefit from the 360 function as much as the larger bottle will... but I still find myself holding the bottle sideways when spraying engine bays, fender wells, and tight interior spaces (under seats/dash, between seats and center console, etc). Do I find myself spraying upside down? No. But if you're running the bottle close to empty and go off axis at all when spraying sideways...the 360 tube will provide constant product without having to think about it. This saves time and frustration. I've used and abused my original TR1 bottles, and they've never missed a beat. Even with straight undiluted Brake Buster, I have yet to have a sprayer fail. I wish I could say the same for the Pressol bottles I got from OG. They're great, but they don't have them figured out (yet). I like the double action of the Pressol, but I don't like how heavy the trigger pull is. As a man in my 40's who has done a lot of physical labor over the years, my joints and nerves need all the help they can get. The Canyon sprayers have a great spray pattern, and a nice and light trigger pull that you can get several fingers on. I just always hated how they dug into my hand. The comfort grip extension has fixed that. Even though the Canyon sprayer is only single action, I think it puts out just as much product (per pull) as the double action Pressol. They definitely aren't cheap, but I think with these improvements...they are worth the price. I know that IK was planning to sell the grip extension separately, so I wonder what happened with that...or if that might change in the future. Maybe they just don't have the production capacity at the moment to sell them separately. That said, I'll gladly buy the whole replacement sprayer assembly and just keep the spray heads themselves as spares.

Whats good Jeff! 😎Thanks for the constructive response, its refreshing to see an engaging comment compared to the "ur wrong, my opinion better haw haw" types of comments I sometimes get 😂 Ill respond to your feedback in order Without a doubt these are great improvements for the bottles as a whole while introducing a new size, and honestly I like the direction iK is going. However, because TRC was involved as a major distributor for them (they are not critics) they will never mention the design flaws nor poor decisions that would set back the sale or lower profits. Same applies to all the products they sell, not just iK, and this remains true for all distributors not just TRC. So when I criticize a product(s) it is because I did not follow a trend, hype, group project, fan requested design, etc. I will give my feedback with no strings attached because if a brand REALLY wants to improve a product, they would have to listen to the critics who pin point the errors rather than focusing on how many sales the seller can produce or narrowing a small group of followers of the seller who are unable to be transparent with the product. I remember watching one of OG's videos regarding the sprayers and Matt being himself brought the same (brutally honest) constructive criticism similar to what I had. It is because he is primarily a critic not just a seller/distributor, he doesn't just add products to his shop because "every shop is doing it or its a new product getting hyped." He has a vision of what "detailing" is a concept, not just for consumers. Now I will admit I don't agree 100% with his ideas, but the transparency he has over what he thinks about certain products/equipment is something that be can respected and I can relate to since that is the direction of what I would like my channel to go to. Wish I had a killer sprayer with the Pressol double pump feature! Sucks there isnt the "perfect" sprayer because each has a mechanical advantage, while ergo design is poor and vice versa. Matt mentioned iK is creating (supposedly) their OWN patented design not from 'Canyon' company. We will have to wait and see about that, but until then, my opinion about the sprayer still holds true. I actually have like 8 different sprayers in my garage and I was just swapping each one to see which combination would favor the iK bottle. Unfortunetely, to no good results 😔 And about that price, OOOF. Yes they are expensive but I think "expensive" is based off the buyer. Some people are happy with cheap Walmart bottles, while others are iK only fans. And I agree, they are worth it! As someone who goes through some solution but does not need 34oz sitting around, the smaller sprayer favors my workflow. I also wonder why they didn't sell the ergo part by itself. 🤔I don't think something like this would have disrupted their workflow considering it can easily be 3D printed or allow us consumers to print it ourselves. Not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if somebody starts selling it. Phew, I think that wraps my essay 😂Thanks for the feedback champ! Love these civil conversations! 😎

In over 60 years of business they still haven’t figured out a trigger that doesn’t feel like you’ve been grappling with Brazilians? Some problems have solutions that keep people spending as long as the demand and hype is still there. 🕶

Great review! As someone who applies PPF, the 360 sprayer is a big help spraying bottom up under PPF. Great for wheel wells too

You've convinced me to get one. My car has quite low side skirts and i can never spray them properly. Then i contact wash and drag all that dirt onto a (now dedicated) cheap mitt and scrape the poor skirts. No way round it. But with a Mini, i could get right under and spray to my heart's content. This product has awesome potential for me and other owners of low cars. Also, the bottom bracket on my road bike.

I've been doing all my spray bottles and my foam cannon bottle with this 360 thing they're trying to sell people for so much money. hahaha I bought the silicone tube on Amazon and the ball and made them for years and post it on my ig stories no body cares about it.... but the RC comes out with it boom it's a hit 🤔 anyways champ your videos always good content keep it up.......

upside down spraying is good inside the windshield. also, some bottles dont spray when you tilt forward, like spraying on the roof... also, they just released the 1 liter 360 sprayer, and they on special..

even to this day, my thoughts on it still hold about the 360 mechanism 🤔 If your bottle cant spray forward, then you either have too little liquid, the tube is too short, or tube is bent out of shape 🔨 Had similar experiences with other bottles In that scenario I would spray my towel rather than spraying the glass. Helps with unnecessary overspray ☝️

Is the mini sprayer head chemical resist to stuff like tar and glue removers etc as with the bigger one the had a different one that was specific for the harsher chemicals

they are actually the same chemical resistant sprayer, on the mini they just slapped a piece of plastic for ergonomics 😂 I have an Iron Remover and an Active Wheel Cleaner on separate bottles and seem to be holding up just fine. 🤔

There's always a target audience for these products. I liked the bottles a lot and bought a few, but swapped out the spray head with a Zep one for the comfort and just higher output. It is true that the bottle weighs a lot with more solution. So the smaller bottles do have a place. What IK shouldve done is also sell 360 spray head compatible with the 1L bottle, because I do find myself pointing at weird angles but the straw is in an awkward position. Definitely missed opportunity.

Finally someone understands 😂 I agree, it was definitely a missed opportunity and a no brainer considering that price tag. They should have sold the ergo piece by itself as a clip and the 360 tube as a kit instead of all of this plastic waste that people are gonna throw in the bin 😑

I'm wondering the price reflects the 360 sprayer and pick up tube. Also, adams polishes is selling a 3 pack for 39.99 and I used a 25% discount code to lower the price to 30.00. 10 bucks each was a steal!

Literally after reading this I went to check my sprayer just to make sure 😂 From what I can tell, it looks like ordinary chemical resistant soft tube for cooking appliances. The ball is actually a plastic ball with a weight in the center. Not sure the material tho 🤔 Sucks its so expensive 😭 Its a great bottle, but like many detailing gear, they tend to upsell on the brand 😑

How long do these triggers last? They are a bit pricey for me. They do look nice however as a business owner I'm not spending 15.00 bucks plus per bottle for them to be breaking left and right.

Whats good champ! 😎 Since these are LITERALLY the same exact bottles and sprayer mechanism as the original 34oz, it will last a very long time! Ive owned the original for a very long time with occasional drops and scrapes, they are still working perfectly fine! You have a point on the price 😢 It is really the only thing holding this bottle back for a lot of people 😔 💰

Tbf ik uses canyon sprayers, most car shops sell the same trigger in a different color or white for like two bucks

They last forever. I’ve used mine for 3 years and I’ve had no problem. They are made chemical specific so they have some for acid, alkaline, etc. you can get the 6 pack for $60 so it brings the total cost down.

The 360 mini is not ment to sprey upside down. The plus is when you are low on solution it will suck the solution untill the last drop. Or when you tilt it to sprey the engine bay and the level is low. I love the 360. Still tge lrice is hi and ther is cheaper ways to do your bottles 360. There is no mechanisam just a waithed ball on the end of the suction tube. Just like in the foam canons

This is a very fair argument and I 100% agree that it was not meant to be a 360 bottle, I think it is just very misleading for the audience. even to this day, I don't agree with the price as it is only a couple of cents cheaper compared to the 32oz bottle, depending on where you are located. 🤔

@@CardosCarDose yeah the price is on the expencive side i agree with that kne but if you work as detailer and make living from it it doesnt really ad up to much to your expences. I only use 2-3 bottles of this and the solution i dont use to often are in cheaper sprayers. Great video anyway. And for those who like to go the cheap way search for Gravity Ball for foam canon or someting like that... and use a silicon tube so it can bent and ther you go you can make your cheap spray bottle to sprey upside down 👌🤘

I’ll be real. These flaws are by design. Literally and figuratively. Foam pro 2 tired of continuous pumping? Here’s one with a new valve! Tired of going back to the air comp to finish the job? Here’s a $155 dollar mini battery compressor! Yes their bottles are stout and look cool. They don’t fall over easy they also only fit in holders made for wash buckets. Trendy overpriced hype and I fell for it.
