US here: And not familiar with the processes, but it seems much more efficient in the UK where drivers must input the order code upon pick up to ensure that the right order getting picked up be the correct delivery guy. Here, anyone picks up the orders, which gives rise to theft. Then when that happens, the poor drivers have to call to cancel the order, which takes forever.

It is interesting watching these delivery videos. I have become addicted. It is a different world to me. All my 37 years in the UK. Never ordered food delivery. And in Australia for 25 years. Never ordered food delivery. The last 17 years, in an area with no food delivery anyway. Seldom eat takeaway. If I do just collect it on way home. Each to their own. But makes fun videos.

3:20 probably not a good look on that restaurant to have an employee admit that he doesn't check if a rider accepts pickup before handing the order over. I get its not a "rule" they have to enforce, but when customers see that they know the chance of stolen orders is high. Also, why do you not bring your thermal bag with you? Sure the small walk back to the bike won't freeze the food right away, but why even give it that time to cool down?

The order wasn’t stolen, you picked up that order number the first time you went in so the store gave you the wrong bag so more than likely your customer got someone’s else’s order. Clearly shows 9640 on the first bag you picked up.

here in the Philippines via FoodPanda once you rejected a delivery automatically your "performance rating" will suffer and also the fees you're getting be cheaper

Grinding it out now I have a scooter 🛵, Zego insurance is cheaper then anyone else plus have hire and reward 😮a no braineer:-If anything happens report it bro 👊, if bad the police 👮 happens a fair bit with riders taking orders or them getting stolen or bad addresses cancelled orders not much you can do about it really but hope it gets better 😅
