You covered basically about everything, I always assumed it was a hell helmet? Some whom are not as savvy as you, would you custom build helmets for a price If anyone asked? This is fantastic, Josh. Thanks for sharing. Did you test it in the hot weather? Can the visor be removed (for a Floridian summer as example). I know the manufacturer also have a visor-less helmet but I'd like a convenience of both :).

Hey Gregor, thanks for watching! Yes, the visor can be removed and I did that in summer at first, but then I realized a nice vented visor worked just as well at keeping me cool. It also has vents all throughout the helmet so it works great as a summer helmet. However, if you blow a launch be prepared to be sweaty haha. H

Curious if having the 1 piece ear muff system and front enclosed and what looks like carbon fiber material, if that cuts down on engine noise? I'm currently using a Giro cycling helmet for my build. That helmet is more open with several vent holes and less noise reflective material. I'm thinking of changing to a Carbon fiber helmet and was wondering if something like that would make a significant difference?

I would like to say, yes there is a difference. But honestly, the earbud mod is the biggest game changer when it comes to cutting down engine noise. There is zero engine noise now, and I have music and phone at like 30% volume and I can hear just fine without blowing out my ear drums.

I tried one a few years ago on winter and As soon as I took of, I had to land because the screen was completly fogged!!!!!!! Have you solved the fog problem?

The ideal is to take off with the visor unclosed, since during the race you breathe heavily and any closed helmet will fog up. Once in flight we already have air circulation and breathing normalizes, so the visor should not fog up. Even so, it is possible to completely eliminate this problem by using an anti-fog protector, which is a plastic film that adheres to the inside of the visor and creates an air chamber that prevents it from fogging up. It is easy to find it on the web or any motorcycle store.
