Story Summary :-
Op’s parents have a business that has been struggling for some time. They are also at fault for this because they try to live luxuriously even though they can’t afford it, which causes problems in the business. For the longest time, Op has wanted to take over the family business and make it extremely successful to keep her family happy, and she studies accordingly. But as she gets close to finishing her studies, her parents ask her to start dating a guy she doesn't even know. Op says no, and her parents explain that they are trying to make the arranged marriage easier for them. Op says she doesn't want to get married, but her parents want this wedding because it would benefit the business. Op is heartbroken and asks them to trust her, but they give her an ultimatum to either get married or leave. Op chooses the latter and works day and night, and after several years, she builds a pretty successful business. Later, she decides to give them a chance to see what they really want. They are quick to ask Op for help since the business is about to go down and they need her money and support. Op hesitates a little but agrees, and her parents are very happy. She tells her parents that she plans on collaborating with them so that their business can stay
afloat, but for the collaboration, they would need to give the company a sum that Op can’t pay directly. So Op asks them to sell the family house to her, which would make it look like a legit transaction, and they can use the money to pay the company. Believing that Op wants the best for them, they sell the house to her, and on the day of the contract signing, she cancels the contract and kicks them out of their own house. Their company goes down a little later, and they go bankrupt and homeless.

Technically you can "arrange marriage" any where in the world. But the people getting married still have to agree to it, if it's in USA, UK, Spain, or ect.

Forced marriages happen in every country. It may not be legal in Western countries, however, happens everyday even in so called" civilized countries." Even minors. I watched a show about how Australia actually has an organization that helps girls who are being forced by parents. Some are taken to their parents home country and married off. It actually happens all over the world even in the US. Some are.brought up in cults and are not from a different countries. When I say girls, I mean minors. If a minor can be forced to marry, even a man who SA them, legally in the US, it can happen anywhere. Not all States have legislation that prohibits those under 18 from marrying. Some still allow parents to sign marriage licenses for minors to marry. I think there are a lot of things that happen in "civilized countries" that you don't know about. Lots of trafficking goes on at the Southern border too. Border Patrol has said kids without guardians arrive everyday and they have to call whoever the kid has the number for and they say most are being trafficked and they are picked up by people not related to them. That is a whole other hell, that you shouldn't research unless you are ready to find out the truth. You won't be ready, even if you think you are.
