Thank you! ❤️ that is interesting to hear because I would never say I am good at cross hatching! But from my experience with other techniques, it is mostly a master of practice and some guidance to get anywhere. So if you want to be good at crosshatching I am sure you can!

Hello, Justyna! It's nice to meet a Polish artist. Most I know so far are from US, UK, Canada, Australia, and a few from Germany, Norway and South Africa. Very nice paintings from past years. It's hard to pick a favorite, maybe the chameleon and toucans, but the upright horse took me back to some happy memories. This will be my first Inktober. Starting out with ballpoint pens. Will see where it leads. Can't wait to see what everyone creates. 🎨

I did some drawings with a ballpoint pen and they are quite nice to use, I mostly like that you can shade with them similarly to a pencil creating smooth transitions.

These drawings are really nice. I am having a hard time understanding how the images go with the prompts. For “the sea” you drew a rooster and a sheep….. I feel like it would make more sense if you made your own list since you’re not sticking to the prompts. I love how your drawings are coming out though they have a cohesive style.

They don't go with the written prompts, those are the prompts from 2018, I wrotw them on every page since I thought I would complete it back then 😀 but as you saw, I gave up after like 5 days or so. So this 'sea' is completly irrelevant to he drawings. I didn't scratch those promots as it would make the notebook look messy and it is alsona part of my history of trying to complwte inktober since 2018. In 2023 I did make a list for myself but I didn't write those down in this sketchbook. It was only to make it easier for myself as I didn't have to wonder each day what to draw. But I didn't treat it as prompts, you do not have to follow any prompts durong inktober so it was just a list of animals I wanted to draw each day 😉
