I was in the same boat! I really do think they are listening to their community! Definitely takes a little to get used to in comparison to Etsy!

I really enjoy following patterns on Ribblr. My first was the Ghostie you recently posted, but being able to click on the row I just finished and it marking it off for me was game changing. I also enjoy having the app on my phone, so I can pull up the pattern literally any time I’m ready to crochet. And can still easily pull it up on a computer as well. When I download a pdf from Etsy onto my laptop, I get a bit annoyed that I have to open up my laptop and set it near me to work. I end up with a whole sprawl of items across my bed to work on a project 😂

I agree! I usually work at my desk but I love bringing things to a couch but its just SO much STUFF! Sometimes I'll use google drive as my "phone" pdf. But Ribblr just makes it easier!

As someone who uses Windows Ink Space on my drawing monitor for crocheting (I don't have a printer, so, this is my version) So I can highlight, make notes, edits, add my own references, etc. Having an image pdf is perfect for me, as well, I feel like your version also keeps people from copy/pasting your design as easily, which I do feel is beneficial as well from certain perspectives. I enjoy Ribblr, but YOUR PDF's looked very you, very your style, very cute, and using the Ribblr creator, it puts their stamp on it (Literally and figuratively, and yes I realize you can export it without the stamp) . It looks like a Ribblr Design to me and less of a False Bubble design now. Their colour themes, etc. I enjoy artists customizing and making things their own, I wish Ribblr would put more of their artists' uniqueness into the overall look I guess, but I can definitely see the handiness in it all and it takes a lot of the steps out of the process which time is valuable. I get that to, Hopefully at some point in the future they will add more options to what you can customize and make it look more 'you'. They're definitely much better than they used to be already and are blooming at a fast rate. Awesome!

I am trying as hard as I can to make little animals and I just can't get them to look right. They are so tight of a stitch i can't see the stitches as I go on as well as stitches that work up in a coil are my hardest. Suggestions?

How do you come up with a new pattern? I mean if you take 2-3 different parts of others patterns to make something of your own. - not to sell the pattern just to make and sell. Everything I think might be cool someone else has already done it or I see someone else’s and be like oh that’s cool. Love listening to you talk by the way

I used Adobe InDesign Creative Suite when I worked in advertising at a newspaper. Photoshop is part of it or you can get it separately. I'm surprised you used it. Glad ribbler is making things easier for you! But I'm a huge fan of InDesign, just not a pattern designer! Hugs!

Hi, What is the best way to contact you as my daughter is trying hard to make your Fenna the fox crochet project but she is getting stuck at page 6 Row 8 cont'd as her stitch count is going to 43 and she is confused on how to end on an inc. Please help

Hi there. That part is tricky. I have a video about attaching legs together which might help. Take a look at that one first. However. Don't worry too much about this. I'm just trying to get people to the correct stitch count while separating the increases evenly. If you have enough stitches in the end it should be ok! If she needs to hide an increase somewhere before the end of the round to add up to the correct stitches that is sometimes easier than doing it exactly how I did it. Definitely start by checking out that video first though!
