I discovered Ella about 6 weeks ago. I love the fact how she is so open about things. She even talks about harmony nice , who I discovered 1st. Main part of this video I like was how she does wicca stuff every day . I have bought her book of spells to read on holiday.

I love Silver Ravenwolf! Her books definitely got me interested in the practice. I used to read "To Ride a Silver Broomstick" everyday, after school, at the library. I was too afraid to take it home, I didn't want my mom to find it. Now I'm an adult, I own the book, and I'm finally, officially, on my path to become a witch

Ella, I have been following you on and off again for about two years (wow, time goes by fast). In that time I had gone from being a practicing Wiccan for about 18 years. That practice came to a stop when I was faced with questions I never addressed about Wicca. For some reason I put off my discomfort with the Greate Rite or history of Wicca. I am fortunate enough to have had a conversation with an author who studies Wicca and Druidry; he helped me realize that in time we change our views (like you said). I couldn't find comfort in the Great Rite and I wasn't okay that a lot of Wicca wasn't widely open about Gerald Gardner and his inaccurate claims to history (that is a whole different topic though). Because of this I have shifted gears and went into my own ancestral roots and am studying Druidism / Celtic Paganism. Long comment, sorry. I am just glad that you're opening up and finding ways to reconnect with your faith.

I was, in general, mostly drawn to the pagan part of wicca, especially the helenic-roman dieties, but my practice has in general become more witchy than typical pagan. My most common dieties are Diana/Artemis, Venus/Aphrodite and Apollo, but on sabbaths, I focus more on the corrispondental dieties. For me, Apollo is relevant, since he is associated with the sun, but also since I am a musician/singer.

Weird question but is that an embroidery hoop with butterfly in the background? Do you do embroidery? I do embroidery too and I incorporate it in my practice, like making embroidered bags to fill with offerings to the gods

It is :) I did do that myself though I haven’t had time recently to do any - but you could definitely include embroidery in your practice!

I have been dipping into wicca over the past 6 years , trying to decide how I feel practicing while still being a christian. I decided to dive in but I cannot find info on the kind of wicca that speaks to me. Nature, hunting, fishing, outdoors. I'm am calling myself a primal witch . I think it may be witchcraft itself that is calling you. Wicca is a religion itself, while witchcraft and nature worship can be practiced by anyone regardless of their religion. Wiccans use witchcraft to practice their religion, while anyone of any religion can be a witch and practice witchcraft. It would make you a witch, not Wiccan.
