It's very much possible. I managed it like that. PLAB 1 is an easy exam to be honest. Just make sure you have enough time to solve the qbanks.

You mentioned that one should start preparation with a mock test and then prepare accordingly. Could you please elaborate? Where can I find a proper mock test? I don’t currently feel confident in my medical knowledge. If I score low on the mock test, what changes should I make to my preparation?

When you make a mistake in the mock, you can always assess your weaker areas and focus on those subjects first. Most apps like plabable give free mocks with the question banks.

Hi 👋 thanks for the advise ! I got the answer sheet printed for big mock and the answer sheet had boxes instead of circles ! It was so hard to mark in those ! Could you please tell me if the final test also has squares ?😅 😢 such a silly question I know but my exams in like 3 days 😅

I don't remember the shape of those boxes to be honest, I think the real exam has boxes. But I'm quite sure that you'd be more prepared than the rest of the students in PLAB 1 as you have practiced it on paper during the big mock. Sorry for replying so late. How was the exam though?

@@MumtazKeh hi 👋 it was rectangular ! Big rectangles ! I was getting around 140-148 in mocks so I was pretty confident I would do good. But the exam was very tough. The questions were so vague and it seemed like that they were cut short. I had gotten used to picking up clues from reading the entire stem. But in the exam they didn’t write the whole narrative. Just asked straight up two points and select the answer. There were very few similar questions from plabable. I’d say 50% of the people was relatively easy and the rest was very different… I went to Dubai to give it cause I didn’t get a seat in India. And it was so hot inside this massive hall which had a 1000 people ! I kept drinking water to keep myself hydrated & I wasted 10 minutes just going to the washroom cause it was so far away. While writing I kept thinking am I not going to clear it, I still battled that thought finished the paper in the last minute. And god am I stressed about the results no idea if I have cleared it ! 😭

You'll need your PMQ certificate (degree certificate) in order to apply for plab1, so you won't be able to take the test in final year of mbbs I'm afraid.

Okay, I haven't done this myself but I know a little bit about the process. You need to send an email to the GMC. They'll send you a PMQ form which needs to be filled and sent back ( I think by the medical College). They should start the verification process after that

I would say both of these are quite easy exams considering that you aren't directly applying for training positions ( PG).

How much should I get in plabable mocks as well as big mocks in my last 25 days of prep...? I am scoring on average of 75% in plabable mock ans 65% in big mock... Will this score works out in real exam?

See the minimum passing score for plab1 usually lies around 65-70% and big mocks are a better indicator of plab1 than the Plabable mocks as per my experience. My suggestion would be to solve as many mocks as you can coz it'll prepare you for the big day to the extent that you start getting 80-85% in your mocks(sure shot pass). Additionally, keep reviewing your marked questions which will definitely boost your PLAB 1 score. All the best, you got this!
