I would love to see a video on what to write in greeting cards for birthdays, etc. I always get stuck and write something I'm not happy with. I thought of this because those important dates are what I keep in my planner. :)

I had a Day Designer Daily for 2020, and I loved it. Even as a SAHM and with COVID impacting many plans, I never stopped using my planner for appointments (albeit less), virtual meetings/calls, important dates, meal planning, and my homemaker “to do” list. I love keeping everything consolidated in one place. For 2021, I bought a Emily Ley Simplified Daily planner with a few coordinating notebooks. Also, I like using navy Frixon erasable pens in my planner.

I've been using a Day Designer planner from target for years. I need to check out the extras directly from the site. I need a place I can keep christmas card lists and my separate address book isn't cutting it.

I use ‘Well Planned Gal’ for homeschool and the ‘faith Box’ Planner for personal goals. Well planned Gal’s planner is designed for the school year, it starts in July and ends in June. I have used it for over ten yrs. and have not found anything better. Thanks for sharing your choices.

You had me at Washi Tape. Such an inexpensive and pretty way to add a bit of joy to our planners. I love journaling, planning and really most anything paper related makes me happy. When time allows I like to use my fountain pen and add a positive daily quote here or there. Thanks for the lovely video!

Hi Jennifer, I'm really enjoying your videos lately. Just found you recently. I'm also a homeschooling mother of 5 now...also homesteading in a small house. I'm finding I'm overwhelmed most days (new baby as well). I was never an organized, disciplined person and I'm finding I need to be now more than ever. I've recently purchased a planner and have been using it. Do you think you would ever do a video on your day? Like when u wake up and what your routine is.....just to give us an idea when/how you do it all! I find these inspiring and also it gives me ideas. Thank you and no worries if you cannot do one. ☺️

I love the Day Designer. I have the paperback vertical layout version. What sold me was the blank pages for my prayer lists, kids clothing needs, future projects, movies to see, books to read, home projects, and other notes.

I TOO love the day planner!! The layout and simplicity is perfect for me. I really like how they have the "to do" list on the days, which is an essential requirement for me. Fun!

Thank you very much for this video. I lived in France and every shop where i tried to find a agenda had only boring ones. So even if i did not find very reasonable to purchase a Day Designer ( shipping fees ) , i did it. I received it today. My planner is beautiful. I AM SO HAPPY !!!!!

Jennifer, Thank you for showing all the details of this Day Designer planner. I'm using a Day Designer in a smaller size 6"x8" so I can slip it in my purse on occasion; it has vertical days with time slots which helps me a lot when 8 of us have appointments on one day. There are not pockets on this lower priced version but I tape in a fun photo around 3 sides to create a slot for my customized weekly menu/grocery lists. All the best, Julie

Walmart and Target sell a 7x9 day designer that has pockets. It's around 14.99 and has all the accessories as the higher priced Day Designer. I must have one that easily fits in my purse as well.

I used a daily Day Designer for 2 years and really loved it! It’s a beautiful planner, but the daily version proved to be more than I needed, so I switched to using Powersheets and a bullet journal to plan weekly (something I never thought I’d use, but I love how customizable it is)! I think you would really appreciate the Powersheets planner by Cultivate What Matters!

Love planners! 😍.. this past 2 years i went to digital planning instead of paper. I find it easier , and very customizable. u can copy paste calendars ,logos , pictures etc from the web or phone. Either way , it does help and makes a difference in our busy life. Like you said ‘planning is chic’ 😍 ty for sharing this!

American made planner? Yes! the only 2 I could find(and its not usually on the website, you have to ask)is CityGirl Planners and the Christian Planner. I really like the spiral in the middle not the big plastic circles.

Type in indeme planner on Amazon. They are like 15 dollars too. They have the three lined fill ins at the end of each day. That would be the only habit tracker to use. Seems like a really nice planner for $16 though.

I guess I never realized planners would be so expensive! You said the homeschool one you’re using is more affordable, but it is $49 for 6 months, and the day designer you have is $59 for a whole year. Am I missing something?

Most designer planners range from $25 to $60. You can find budget ones at the dollar tree or at Walmart. As long as the inside format works for you, they are great!

Happy Planners are pretty cheap. Also people who use planners tend to buy the following years on sale (eg Black Friday or singles day 11.11). It’s easy to get 25-30% off.
