You may consider attaching the Roxon by the clip *But* on the outside of the pouch (if that makes sense)
@AboutThings_byTarif4 ай бұрын
I think I understand, but why? That would make it too precarious to take in and out of pockets especially that the clip isn't very long at all. The pocket did stretch out a bit in a few weeks so now it's super easy to take in and out of it.

@@AboutThings_byTarif it seemed to be one of your biggest “issues” per your video. I do like to use the same idea to add a Rovyvon or pen (zebra) to the end , making it wider but same thickness in the pocket.
@AboutThings_byTarif4 ай бұрын
The video was only after having used it for a few weeks. Now several months later it has formed to the stuff in it in a nice way. So now still with the Roxon, the Rovyvon, and the space pen. All on the front. Works well. I'm considering a Victorinox cybertool though. Might need to send the pen to the back.

Great EDC overview. Could you do an in-depth video about the Seinxon AirTag Card? This is the first time I’ve seen something that thin that works with Apple FindMy app.
@AboutThings_byTarif3 ай бұрын
Thanks! It's fairly simple actually. Works exactly like an airtag and charges wirelessly. I also have one by Ekster that's the same thickness and I think Rolling Square makes one but not sure if it's as thin.

I use the non pro zip pouch as my wallet. The only problem I have with it that the black coating came off the zipper pull thingys connector now they are gold but otherwise it’s pretty great!
@AboutThings_byTarif6 ай бұрын
Alpaka need to rethink their zipper pulls in my opinion. Doesn't match the quality of the product. I considered the pouch but didn't want the rest of my stuff to be in my pocket but I liked it a lot.
@foxtrot0006 ай бұрын
@@AboutThings_byTarif I just got the TomToc 15.6" laptop backpack (I use it for school where I don’t yet use a laptop) and the ykk zippers with the pull tabs are really nice! Alpaka should just use the same ones imo
@AboutThings_byTarif6 ай бұрын
I think the zippers are YKK but the pulls are just not great. I like Tomtoc's zipper pulls. I have a tech pouch that I'll review soon.

It's fun to find someone who carries some of the same things I do! First things first, love love love the Victorinox Swiss Card Lite, Roxon KS2 Elite, Rovyvon A8 and Fisher Space Pen! I have a tool kit at home, tools in my car primarily designed for emergencies, an EDC tool pouch in my Messenger and then my pockets carry. For pockets carry, I first try to limit it to things I may need at a moment's notice. Take pliers for example. I have pliers at home, in my car and in my Messenger bag. I never need pliers so quickly that I don't have time to retrieve one of those. So I don't carry pliers on my person. Second, I try to limit pockets carry to things I need relatively frequently. Something that I would travel 5 minutes back home to get if I forgot it. Here is my pockets carry priority list. 1) Flashlight. If you can't see, nothing else matters (Rovyvon A8). 2) Charging cable (LeverGear on my keychain) 3) one handed folder with locking blade clipped for quick access (Civivi Sendy - includes toothpick and tweezers 4) pen and paper (A7 in my wallet with Zebra F301 Compact), 5) scissors and screwdriver (I built a custom Victorinox Companion adding a Cybertool layer. Sometimes I just carry the Westcott titanium sewing scissors with a ratchet and Steinwhale bits in a dyneema pouch) 6) Chapstick (for lips and emergency fire starting), 7) small meds container on my keychain, 8) Trouble Kit (I have a bigger 5x3.5" one with 30+ items and a smaller mini-Altoids tin with 12 items or so), 9) basic titanium pry bar with bottle opener and hex drive, and 10) refillable butane lighter. Normally, I always have 1-7 on me plus the smaller trouble kit. The rest if I have room.

That is just a KILLER EDC you got there. Thanks for taking the time to share everything. I'd love to see that custom Victorinox. To me a Compact with a cybertool layer would probably be the best selling SAK of all time. I have another pouch that I keep in my backpack and a small pack for my car. I'll go over them at some point in the future. I feel like I'd be right at home with your EDC definitely 🙂 and I think you should share them in a video as well.

Also, the F301 Compact is my second favorite EDC pen. I have a video going over all the pens I use and it's one of my favorites.

the zipper taking up so much space that it limits what can be put inside as well as making it difficult to get cards in and out is such a miss. I would have jumped on it if I could fit my a7 notebook in it
@AboutThings_byTarif6 ай бұрын
I know what you mean. It won't take a notebook and they made a call on overall size vs zipper compartment size. You can tell they're trying to keep it smaller than most similar pouches. What else are you considering?

Great video and a new sub here 🎉. I also love 'cheap' watches and have two CasiOaks. My wrist is too big (7.5") for an f-91w sadly, although I've seen that Casio have just released some new f-91w colours and they look well smart 🤓.
@AboutThings_byTarif5 ай бұрын
Thanks a lot and thanks for the sub! I like that you put cheap in quotes. I don't think of Casios as cheap watches for some reason. All the other watches are expensive 😁. Couldn't you get an after market strap for the F91W?
@VeganRichPT5 ай бұрын
@@AboutThings_byTarif Dude. It's not the strap that's the issue, it's the size of the watch that's just too small to look good on my mega wrist.
@AboutThings_byTarif5 ай бұрын
I see! I think the W217H is a larger version of the same aesthetic. I have a small wrist and often suffer from the other end of that problem.

That Seinxon Tracker is AWESOME ! I've never seen that before ! Have you checked out Addiesdive, Tandario and Pagani Design watches ? They're fantastic value ($50 - $100 and rival the $2 - 300 Seiko range for quality 👍 Please mention pricing and thank you for the helpful links 🙏

A pocket knife is so useful.
@AboutThings_byTarif6 ай бұрын
I agree. If you mean compared to a multitool, the way I look at it is that a multitool with a good knife has taken care of all my knife needs in the past so I never found myself in a situation where I thought I wish I had a standalone knife. But that's 100% my situation and life, I can totally imagine how it's a must for a lot of other people.

Even though it looks really amateur for you to start and end you video dodging your mic and squeezing around your table, the music makes it seem intentional, and somehow professional in a comical way. Nicely done, and best wishes when you decide to kick the habbit
@AboutThings_byTarif5 ай бұрын
Hahaha. Definitely intentional. Everyone is doing fancy animations and cool guy music. I don't take myself seriously enough to do that. Hope it's not coming across as sloppy. And thanks, I'm planning to be out by the end of the year. Lighter pockets will be a plus 🙂.
