Somebody is going to need this information. Great video

Hopefully they dont need it, but its good to have it out there as a resource, even if it didnt get many views.

Glad you got it working! That’s what worries me about internal AC charging! If it fails you could be stuck with DC only! At least with a brick you can swap it out! That is why anything over 1800 watt inverter I prefer to go DYI! I can hot swap anything in the chain!

Yeah I feel you 100% Jay, I rely on wall charging so infrequently that I dont think I care but I am a fan of having dual charge options vs some older power stations that only had one port. That way you can at least use them another way if they are no longer under warranty.

I have the same unit and I found that some of the power stations or the inverters that i have just cannot handle the long surge duration when the unit try to start up the charging circuit, it works fine when connected to the home AC outlet. I just wish that it will allow you to adjust the charging power. @1500W as shown, it will draw about 1800W from the wall outlet. When you disconnect it from the wall outlet and then re-plug it into the other power station then it start working, that may be due to the capacitors in the charger still have charges on them so that will reduce the surge, it is just like capacitors in the inverter that causes you to see spark when you first connected to the battery.

That's an excellent point. It does pull a lot of power to start. I almost forgot about that. A lot of my power stations can't even charge it even though they should be rated to charge it. Good point. Do you find that it charges slower from solar than other power stations. I have quite a few videos that should be coming on this unit and a couple other units I'm having issues with.

@@AskIveSolar The max charge from Solar is limited to only 600W, you will get 600W if you have the right solar panel Voltage (60V max) and current (20A max) which is very hard combination to achieve. When I charge using home AC outlet I have to make sure there is other loads on the same circuit otherwise it will pop my breaker, that is why I wish they made it so you can set the charging power, with that high Wattage charging you will need really big generator to charge it. I also do not like charging at 1500W into 2000Wh battery, that is more than 0.75c charging which I do not know what the long term effect it will have on the batteries. Another thing that is bad about this unit is that when you have the inverter on but no load, it will draw about 40W of power, so in 24 hours it will draw 960Wh from the batteries, which is really bad if you run small loads.

Nah. Very few power stations can do that.

I'ma keep it a buck. It seems like those things have a bad track record. I can't be conclusive but Jasonoids failed and I purchased one that didn't work and I have a few other people talk about having issues. But man does it suck!!

The one I purchased was from a Amazon reseller so I got my coins back.

I just received mine today and I cannot get it to work. Whenever I plugged it in, the breaker tripped. I tried on multiple plugs (breakers of 15/20/30 amps), but the same issue. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Make sure there is nothing else running on that circuit. It tries to pull around 1800 watts initially I think then about 1400. Don't quote me on that though. But make sure it's on a circuit by itself or where nothing else is being powered.

@@AskIveSolar thank you for replying. Yes, I tried a different plug for every single circuit on our house and some of them had 20 amps with no load whatsoever. I already contacted them but most likely I will return it. I don’t want to have a warranty claim for a new product that never worked as intended.

Pls i have a powerstation that this happened too. It just stopped working but the company said its my fault it is the surge of my generator. I had to pay for the repairs in full but this generator has been here for over 20 years and even the day this thing happened they were phones there that didnt get spoiled. Was this really my fault. It is a 2000w powerstation

I feel like if they don't say in their literature that you can't use a full frame Genny then good could you know? Was it under warranty? What company was it? Now I did just recently hear someone say that inverter generators are better for power stations but how could a random person know that.
