@alexdelaloire8739
@alexdelaloire8739 2 жыл бұрын
@@w花b Every region has a very noticeble accent and slang! His doesn't sound like any of them! It doesn't sound native. And I recognized someone who is a native speaker: the French speaking part of Africa, Québec, Belgium, Switzerland...all have their accent and are native speakers but it's still possible to notice when someone is not native. That's why I said a soft german/Eastern accent. It's not a bad thing to say, I even said he's very fluent. Being fluent and having an accent is two different thing. Even I who is a native speaker still get told that I have a soft "island accent" and that's not wrong, cause I grew up with that accent while being a native french speaker in France.

@@alejandrafuentes1316 Thanks. But I know the sounds well enough. Its just that the way they phrase things in modern spoken French is so different from formal written language that I can read and write comfortably but dont know the spoken way of phrasing things. A basic example that I do know is how "where are you" is always taught in textbooks as "Ou es tu?" but people usually seem to say "t'es ou?"

I started learning French when I was 12, used it at uni, and after that, at work along with English. Almost 3 years ago, I started learning Italian. Well, that did not go as planned; I was mixing French and Italian in every 👏 single 👏 phrase. For months. Now, almost 3 years later, words come easier to me in Italian than in French 😂🤣 what a joke
