It’s my first time properly backpacking (Italy and Thailand) and I leave in 2 weeks! Seriously regretting my top loading backpack now 😅 but thank you for these tips as always christianne! I’ve been living vicariously through your adventures for years and now it’s finally time to go on my own adventure

Ps: I’m 26 y’all, it is NEVER too late to go on your first backpacking trip. Watch me at 78 being the hectic party grandma at a hostel in Budapest or something

15:25 food- hotels- always always thers leftover bulk and tea and such and more people leave behind- sometimes hotels will leave it in a designated box or shelve sometimes its all over- so you dont even have to shop for food- if ur not sure - ask receptions or violetears... ull alway find at least an open bag of rice , pasta , tea , coffee and wine too :)

I wouldn't rely on the pillowcase tip. It actually counts as a personal item so i wouldn't be too sure cheap airlines like Ryanair lets them through. (Obviously it also depends on the gate agent.)

I defo needed this video! I’m off to new zealand on a working holiday visa in a few weeks and my luggage is only 20kg and currently my luggage is 24kg! Any ideas on how to minimise this? Love your videos, i’ve been watching since 2018! :)
@MillaExplores Жыл бұрын
From my experience, just take half of what you think you need (or what you have currently packed)! Like if you have 4 pairs of pants ---> take 2, if you have 4 pairs of shoes --> take 2 etc. You really don't need as much as you think. And you can buy things like shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste etc. in your destination. 😄
