After 4 days of quarantine from the date of arrival for Indonesian citizens and foreigners are re-examined RT-PCR. If the RT-PCR result is negative, then after 5 days of quarantine, Indonesian citizens and foreigners are declared for completed quarantine.

Because Tania is Indonesian, separate room as quarantine rules for non-family members applied to us Indonesian too. Unless, you booked a suite with multiple rooms or regular rooms with connecting door. My Indonesian friends who went back after studying abroad, cannot quarantine with his fellow Indonesian classmates.

Hi Alex, I have a question about the health insurance/travel insurance requirement. According to the website, you need an insurance that can cover at least 100.000 USD. How can one do that? Any tips/ ideas? I have health insurance, but it doesn't cover up to 100k USD .My second question: what if your first PCR test turns out positive? Do you still stay at the same hotel or somewhere else? and what if (other scenario being your first test Negative) your second PCR test turns out positive? Do you need to extend your stay in the same hotel or do you need to move to hospital? Thank you in advance :)

Health insurance is only required for Non - Indonesian Citizens. If the test turns out positive, then you'll be transfered to designated Hotels for covid patients.

@@Lugha-lt9vj Thank you for your answer. I only have an European passport and I do have a health insurance, but it doesn't cover up to 100.000 USD. So if i want to go to Indonesia (for let's say 1-2 months), then I have to apply for ANOTHER/EXTRA health insurance that I need to pay at least for one year or more every single month, just for my 1 month vacation. It is not worth it.

Be prepare and follow the rules will make u easier, choose the hotel quarantine that fit to u and welxome to Indonesia..! After left the hotel quarantine u will live like a normal coz the goverment was already open in almost sectors. Almost cities in indonesia now were in level 1 and 2 ( means the cities were in the green level ) and ready to facing a new or normal life. Welcome to jakarta welcome to Indonesia

I did one round at the JS Luwansa in February 2021 in a Premier room (same view as you had). It was ok but not great. I did another round of quarantine in June in a serviced apartment in central Jakarta. It was cheaper than JS Luwansa but much better.
