It's nice to finally see the pigeons coming in and out of the loft. If you're going to be flying them, get them used to the sound of your whistle. Also, put them a feeding schedule this way when you let them out to fly. You drop some feed on a feeding tray, and they come back in. Just a thought. Keep up the good work.

lwssion 2 if ur bird got out DONT LET HIS GIRL COME OUT bc if the bird still wanna go home the only reason to stay is bc of his mate remember just male stay for females some times, but female dont stay for male the dont give a dam. if a pair of pigeon comes out and its the male no need 2 worry they 80% of times dont live without there mate, i have 12 years of experience did a lot of mistakes i can say pigeons are my favorate type of animal/pet they teach u something new every day. i love your channel keep it upp bro and hope my commet helps

I whistle every-time i feed the birds so they know its feeding time. I whistle once my birds are done flying so they will come back knowing its dinner time. Also i would still keep the trap door closed when unsupervised. once a hawk got inside and killed multiples. Ever since then i keep it close unless a bird is outside flying. Keep up the good work Blake!!! Love to see them fly.

Racers Blake you shake food in can then they learn to hear sound and out flying shake can of food and they will to come in fast so you can clock them if raceing

Those pigeon that you have with a bigger crop are called Cuban thief pouter. If you trained them really well, they’ll actually bring another pigeon back home. They’re not excellent fliers for being slow in the air but they’re a amazing breed. Do a little bit more research on the Cuban thief pouters and you’ll love them even more cause I raised them myself!

blake i suggest you put a flag pole 15 to 20 feet high so they know that's where they live so they don't get lost so they know where their house is and where their mates and chicks are. Place the flag pole next to their house😊

Every time you feed them shake a tin with some seed in they will recognise that as food time and if they're flying and you want them in shake the tin they will come down!

i guarantee 100% u will lost some of ur pigeon. that's not how u free fly pigeon. Only male pigeon u can free fly,keep their girl on the cage,so everytime u open the gate the male pigeon can fly wherever they want and will comeback to the cage for the girl. Male pigeon didn't comeback because they know their cage, They comeback because they know where their girl location.
