Do you ever get really dumb offers from people on eBay? I DO! And while dumb, it's also entertaining to HAVE FUN with them! Sit back and enjoy as I react to some of the goofiest messages and respond in even goofier ways

Good stuff 😂 I need to start having more fun with em since I usually just decline & add em to my ever growing Block List which is usually out of anger & exasperation so I could use some more fun dealing with all the hypebeast suprememe idiots

This is one of your best videos ever. There is actually some decent value in the discussion.

You are one of the few that believe this haha

Definitely cuts both ways, lots of idiot sellers out there trying to get 350% comps, you offer 120% of comps and they’re like “How’s 340%?” “Never mind, I bought an entire grade higher for much less than your counter.”

This is true. Won't dispute that one bit

@@TylerShort that's because they may not understand what it actually means to sell on eBay. If they did, they would find humor in what you said and did. Of all of the content creators I watch, you consistently provide the most realistic and data based analysis and reporting; and so transparently. People can choose to not appreciate the humor, however, they cannot deny the reliability, validity, and experience you have as a buyer and seller and, particularly, on eBay. You've been having a great run this year - good on you, and keep it going! Haters gonna hate.

I love when KZbin sellers call out lowballers. I do not accept offers, yet people still send me offers and I block them. There is one guy who offered me $60 on a $325 item and gave me a lengthy reason why it's a fair deal. I ignore him. Every month for three months, he sends me a snarky message how I will never sell it at that price. I then sold it for $325 and had to tell him.

I have won many of an auction at the competitive price we all know as tree fidddy

A lot of times they send lowballs because they don't want to make the first offer, and this is their way of getting you to make an offer first. I turn many of these into sales

I've got another 4 months of screen shots ready to launch. Many, much better than what is shown. These are tame responses

Man, I can go harder with the Cartman impersonation. Same with Mr. Garrison, Timmmmeeeee, and a host of other characters. Hidden talents

One guy asked me what the highest was I would take. I guess my listed price was too low.

Honestly unless it’s a Lebron chrome RC or Luka prizm RC that has a defined market value … $50 is reasonable since who knows what most of these cards are worth

Most will probably go to zero over time so not wrong

Do you not set minimum offer thresholds? Spare yourself the annoyance of the absurdly low offers.
@TylerShort21 күн бұрын
Across all listings, it's far too labor intensive. I've gotten to the point I enjoy just having fun with the low ball offers
@jmaxiu020423 күн бұрын
Or, you know, you could just set the minimum offer you''ll consider. It looks like you have fun with this though, so go off I guess.
@TylerShort23 күн бұрын
Yah know, I see this comment a lot. First, you are indeed correct. I could go through all of my 600+ listings and manually click on EVERY single listing and place a minimum offer threshold in a constantly evolving dynamic market that likely is out of date the moment I set it. It would take, manually an entire day to do that for my entire inventory....and then I would have to repeat it again in a week as values change. OOOOOR, an easier strategy which is what I do as a buyer...it's to make a reasonable and rational offer at the onset of the bidding process. I make offers with intent to buy, not with the intent to fish and waste time. Data is available for all to use in guiding what that offer should be to in order to be considered "fair" for both the buyer and seller. Unfortunately, people don't use this data, or they just behave idiotically. If they choose to behave idiotically, they are affording me the opportunity to get a chuckle at their expense.

@@TylerShort Do all 600 listings consist of rookies and current players? Are all of them sports listings? If so, yes, very dynamic markets especially in season. Retired players, GOATS, non-sports and TCG? Still dynamic but not nearly the same level of volatility.

I like the ones that say it’s for their son….. You don’t have a son manchild, you probably are typing the offer from mom’s basement like most “influencers” though
@TylerShort21 күн бұрын
Oh for sure. The son, the nephew, "my dog bid on it." Thre are tons of weirdos out there bidding.
@codeejohnson700425 күн бұрын
Who cares? Just ignore the offer and move on. This has to be the pettiest thing.
@bennybreaks70223 күн бұрын
Agreed. He's a good follow but this ain't it. We're all trying to get cards at the lowest price possible. Just decline or set a minimum and be done.

I mean, my block list grows linearly by the day. Offering 10-20% of SV? GTFOH
