There is no such thing as a legit seller that's not sick to death of eBay. Why don't we all get together and make up a new platform eBay style that does not allow the sale of digital crap, or anything but true collectables? Sports / Hobby Cards and memorabilia. Did you know that USPS does not even show the eBay envelopes tracking in their system? I've had three not delivered out of 5 since I tried them. Only two showed delivered and two of the others the buyers were honest enough to say they did receive the items. The last one claimed not delivered and eBay stole my money and I don't have the card. I also sued eBay for this same exact situation (and won btw) with a different rare item and after 19 years on eBay with a 100% perfect rating they are just screwing me, over and over. No accountability. They are essentially promoting fraud. It's out of control.

Your strategy and grading style is very similar to mine, love too see this kind if content, plan on subbing for sure! Raw to grade is 💯 the best game in town IMO. Plenty of room for margin and absorbing 8s and 9s when it doesn’t always work out. Also, I think you said this in another comment. Guys like Wemby are definitely flooding the market, but the demand is still MASSIVE, and when graded prices go down, so do RAW prices! I’ve got some killer subs with a bunch of Wembys coming back as well, check it out and I look forward to more on your channel as well!

Because unlike Darvish, Dice-k and Yamamoto, he was signed as 20 years old(he is more like your everyday Bowman pitcher prospect) and developed in the American system(by the Yankees). He was not expecting to be a CY level pitcher(or he will ever been one) before he establish himself in the second season by winning the 18wins. I just got back a 10 on that same trout card. **side note: if Trout had stayed healthy enough to hit 40 HR a year he could potentially be getting to 550 this season. Talking about almost 600 HRs by age 33/34 season. Just what could have been napkin math by my son and I while watching baseball

I never bought Wemby because his market is too competitive and his graded cards are going down in price. The margins are small so you need to sell volume to profit.

@@TylerShort that's because they may not understand what it actually means to sell on eBay. If they did, they would find humor in what you said and did. Of all of the content creators I watch, you consistently provide the most realistic and data based analysis and reporting; and so transparently. People can choose to not appreciate the humor, however, they cannot deny the reliability, validity, and experience you have as a buyer and seller and, particularly, on eBay. You've been having a great run this year - good on you, and keep it going! Haters gonna hate.

Or, you know, you could just set the minimum offer you''ll consider. It looks like you have fun with this though, so go off I guess.
@TylerShort5 күн бұрын
Yah know, I see this comment a lot. First, you are indeed correct. I could go through all of my 600+ listings and manually click on EVERY single listing and place a minimum offer threshold in a constantly evolving dynamic market that likely is out of date the moment I set it. It would take, manually an entire day to do that for my entire inventory....and then I would have to repeat it again in a week as values change. OOOOOR, an easier strategy which is what I do as a buyer...it's to make a reasonable and rational offer at the onset of the bidding process. I make offers with intent to buy, not with the intent to fish and waste time. Data is available for all to use in guiding what that offer should be to in order to be considered "fair" for both the buyer and seller. Unfortunately, people don't use this data, or they just behave idiotically. If they choose to behave idiotically, they are affording me the opportunity to get a chuckle at their expense.
@jmaxiu02042 күн бұрын
@@TylerShort Do all 600 listings consist of rookies and current players? Are all of them sports listings? If so, yes, very dynamic markets especially in season. Retired players, GOATS, non-sports and TCG? Still dynamic but not nearly the same level of volatility.

"The Ebay "Best Offer" option is such a Free For All on Ebay. I don't sell anywhere where you do on Ebay, but when I do I get Offers whether I have a Better Offer Option or not which is usually Not & then they are low ball. If Ebay Really wanted to encourage this service maybe they could actually lower their fees to encourage the Buy It Now offer fee since they promote so Much . Nah!! that would be to Nice.

I love when KZbin sellers call out lowballers. I do not accept offers, yet people still send me offers and I block them. There is one guy who offered me $60 on a $325 item and gave me a lengthy reason why it's a fair deal. I ignore him. Every month for three months, he sends me a snarky message how I will never sell it at that price. I then sold it for $325 and had to tell him.
