So proud of you. When people are bullied, it haunts you and makes you build a coping mechanism. Those mean kids do not deserve your peace. Those kids were miserable and you are great. Remember they were jealous and you are wonderful, talented, and beautiful. Our past traumas hurt but they do no deserve to take away our future peace.

To anyone suffering from anxiety disorders, ocd, panic attacks, trauma, ptsd or depression.. please be patient with therapy. You might want and expect therapy to work like a magic pill BUT it can take time. Also, you need to constantly keep working on yourself and your fears and face them and heal them during periods when you're not actively seeing your therapist. It took me 2.5 years and at 32 years of age I am finally beginning to enjoy life like other people do. just be patient with your recovery process and keep working on your fears keep facing them, you'll feel knocked down by them sometimes, get back up and face them again and again and again and then one day you'll wake up and won't feel the fear anymore...it's the kind of peace and freedom you would not have felt before.... It'll be gone as if it it never existed.. I can promise you that..

I agree. Daily anxieties are a part of life. But do not increase today’s anxieties by adding tomorrow’s to them. Try to live one day at a time. “Never be anxious about the next day, for the next day will have its own anxieties.” Matthew 6:34

Thankyou, there is so much stigma around mental illness. My father just told me to stop worrying when I have PTSD and can't sleep or calm down for weeks on end. To all other anxiety sufferers out there Keep going . you are not alone xx

I can't even do any of this I just exist I'm on medication but I still get these spells where I just feel crazy and can't function. I get better and can live but it's still there but then every month to six weeks boom I loose my mind. I cnt even describe what happens to me I don't understand. It's so sad because I have so many good things and reasons to be happy but my mind won't let me. When it does clear up for awhile things make sense again and I feel alot better but can't move forward because I know it's gonna come back and I can't get out of bed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nadiya, Really enjoyed this documentary. Brought me to tears sometimes. I’m sorry for what you went through as a child. While I am thankful I did not have these traumas happen to me, I did have ill family members when I was a child and always worried I would lose family members when they got sick. I get your journey with anxiety. I’m a BIG worrier, can/do worry about everything. I can even relate to your CBT experience. I too expected a cure. “Oh good, that’s over.” I realize now I had unrealistic expectations. Keep on doing the work. Thank you for doing this. Talking about anxiety and exposing it to the sunlight reduces its power because monsters live in the dark. May you be at peace. One day at a time. You can do this.

As a boomer I grew up playing all day with friends. We did all manners dangerous activities. We were fearless. Kids today do not have that. They are raised to be fearful, afraid of everything. Anxiety will happen. Glad I was a kid back then.

Nadiya, this documentary reall touched me.Take all your worries to the Lord in prayer he is willing and able build that relationships with your heavenly maker.I pray that you will have an increased faith ,favour and blessing with your Lord.Tell these anxiety you are not a winner in Nadiya's mind get thee hence from my thoughts this instant and you will be blessed with a peace and calmness in your soul.Every morning and every evening of your life articulate these words:''I can do all things through Christ who strengthenes me.'' Always remember this simple Scripture passage,''In quietness and in confidence shall be your strength.''ISAIAH 30:15

I get social anxiety and it's crippling. I've managed to accomplish and do things, but also there are many days where i can only be in bed on my phone. Doing what's safer instead of going out to doing what i need to and being around people. I'm getting help though and open with my friends and family that i have an illness and it helps

I struggled with anxiety so in my early 20s. I ended up in the emergency room. Today, I no longer struggle with anxiety. You can overcome it. For me, it was filling my mind with the word of the God of the Holy Bible. My favorite verse today is Philippians 4:6-7. God bless all who reads this. ❤🙏❤

I saw this girl for the First time around christmas on tv, she was at a place with another tv persona (cant remember who) were she really loved the bakery in this place, she talked about this and it really looked delicious. It hit me, she looked nervous, not relaxed in a way…and this evening i had the answer, this film poped up. She has angsiety. It went right through to me on the tv program, but i couldnt put my finger on it. I Have angsiety too. Through the screen i could sense her worries. I hope she feels better now.

I look in your eyes and see this unbelievable beauty, and creativity, and love for your family and respect your craft. Mr prayer for you is that you come to a point where you are able to manage the anxiety. Maybe you don’t slay the monster, but you kick his punk behind out of your driver’s seat. ❤

Imagine, HOW the boys ( who actually are the GUILTY ones by CAUSING her ALL that HEALTH issue and DISTRUCTION in her life ) might FEEL after GETTING to KNOW what THEY did to that WONDERFUL girl, and they are GROWN now !! She should seek for PROSECURING them ALL !! What they did was an ATTEMPT to DEATH against a GIRL who could NOT defend herself !!

Has anyone on here tried a DNA test to check for issues? I mean, if you have a problem digesting certain foods or even processing Vit D. Ive always wondered why some folks have these issues and realize SSRIs dont really work and Benzos are highly addictive. Maybe theres a whole lot more to why some people are suffering while others are fine.
