My favourite documentary about the history of Alaska's railroads led me to look for old railway lines around Nome, on google maps. Then I searched KZbin for the road between Nome and Council and found your videos (& subscribed). It's nice to see how life is in Nome in the current year, and I find the gold panning you do to be fascinating. I've never been to Alaska, or any part of the USA but one day I dream of being there, maybe moving there. I like cold weather and am good at fixing / making things work - I just feel like I need to be there for some reason. Maybe one day. Best wishes to you and yours, from me here in the UK 🙋‍♂
