And she worked hard with all of them. Clearly you have no real horse experience.
@astraeacreates8 жыл бұрын
Horses are dangerous animals. As she said NUMEROUS times, she lost confidence a lot riding at this level on some of these horses. If a rider isn't confident in the horse, in either their own abilities or the horses', or doesn't feel safe, then it's more likely to be an unsuccessful ride. No matter how hard you work, rebuilding confidence on the horse you lost the confidence on is challenging and takes a LONG time. There was nothing wrong with any of these horses; they were perfectly capable of jumping and dressage and flatwork and groundwork, therefore she didn't "pass the problem onto someone else". She gave them to more able and confident riders who could handle the riders. Clearly you have no experience with problem or project horses, horses who are dangerous and who can't be handled easily or by everyone. So you uneducated dumb fuck, learn something before talking shit.

Your riding style is so practical... You clearly do what need to be done to assist the horse, or in some cases, stay out of his way. You are not just a passenger on a made horse, which is nice to see these days! You bring horses along so nicely, however, and make them look totally pushbutton! Nice work!💕

Mariana Taborda that's not this hard if you have a horse that like jumping. Mine loved it. He would have jumped over everything, even if I had a bad position and that gave me the possibility to work on me better and consentrate more on having a good position. Because I did not have to watch if the horse will do it right or not because he always did right.

I love seeing the progression, even of you eyeing a stride and sticking with it, seeing you adjust the tempo/speed and not just sitting back, but really riding. You and Santo are a great team, so that helps a ton too. Super cohesive.

This video makes me really happy to watch! I have been subscribed to you since you had Conny and I mean it was obvious you were getting better over the years, but seeing it all in one video is just incredible! You are an amazing rider :) You also helped me not feel guilty when I had to sell my horse because he had become dangerous. Lots of people judged me for making that decision, but I knew it was the safe one to make and the fact that you have had to make similar decisions made it easier. So thank you for that :)

I don't think anyone should jump higher than .90m until your distances are consistent. It's not fair to the horses conference or your's(and I mean everyone out there learning) just because your horse can jump over a meter, doesn't mean you should. Get your distances consistent and then move up

You're very lucky to have the chance to experience riding with so many different and amazing horses. I've been riding for 10 years, but never had my own horse because of the expense of owning one. It's always a lot harder riding school horses and you can't evolve with them the same way as if having your own. Every time you improve something with the horse or teach it a new thing it feels like the newbies ruin it. It's very rare to find a school horse that you can have a soft hand on for an example. They're too used to being pulled around. Apologize for bad grammar.

Can i just say, even in the first video you ride over jumps and flat so much better than half of the "professionals" i see floating about. I can only ever hope i have the confidence and rider position as you one day! I haven't jumped in over 6 years, and my current ridden horse cannot jump due to an old injury. But i have invested in jumps and poles ready for when my youngsters are old enough... I might need to take some lessons before then and will most likely fail miserably XD But watching your videos gives me some hope that it can be done if i try hard enough. If you want it enough, you can do it. I'm pretty sure you'd have no problem finding work for someone, if that's your plan? Like riding/working for a professional show jumper? :) Can't wait for the next video, keep up the good work :)

Here is my horse riding story. I started off on a little pony I very rarely cantered on her. I then got moved off of her because I was getting to big for her. I got moved onto a horse named scoot he is an Arabian. I then started cantering and jumping on him. He only bolted once with me in the 2 years I rode him he's a good old soul I still may go ride him trail riding. but I started jumping higher and he is a little older so I got moved off of him to a 15.2 hh Appaloosa. She was a perfect horse but she would get very wild and try to throw me making me loose my confidence. I would jump her big time and she would try to throw me (i had never fallen before.) so my teacher moved me to a 16.1hh quarter horse. This horse was trained very well. I was always used to controlling horses with the reins but I had to control him with my legs and he is a very forward horse. I would canter and he would bolt every time making me loose my confidence. I would jump and he would do it perfect. So I went to a show and I was riding around on him and the asked me to go over cross rails and he jumped and threw me. I lost all confidence in him because I sprained my arm. I now ride a Thoroughbred named Hershey. He is very gentle and I feel very comfortable on him.

you looked great! tottaly understand. i had it ruff with my past horses intell i found the one too. you could win a lot of ribbons and medals. the only part i had a problem with your riding was you need to sit the canter better. its good when your cantering without a jump but after the jump you lose his gate for a little bit. try to use your leg muscles for when you sit back down in the seat after the jump, then relax when his gates calmed down and you will sit it perfect! and dont worry its hard to master even the finest champions at time have a hard time learning it. but after a year or 2 i learned it! and i get alot better comments views and judgment because of it! anyways

When I first started watching your videos, I had this tiny voice telling me: "She got handed everything, all the different horses and look where she is now". Then I started watching older videos and saw the two ponies and was a bit awed at what you accomplished and had to admit ,to myself mostly, that you didn't get everything handed. After this video I have to say though that your "journey" is a bit unorthodox. I am no Showrider, simply because I never had a horse I was allowed to compete with. But I have been riding for 14 years now and I started jumping after I had several years of dressage training behind me. I am not saying that that's the only way to go, but I do believe it is better to start off with dressage and then go on to show jumping. Even though I don't like how it started it has me even more impressed how the video ended. It is amazing how often you stood up and started riding again and where you are now. Heads of to you! (Sorry, if the english is a bit broken, has been a while since i last spoke it!) Congratulations to your success!
