Nate - my husband (floor installer) said to do this get that floor up - he said to use a heat gun or hair dryer. Heat up the floor for about a minute & then use a puddy knife to scrape it up. Using the heat will heat up the glue & make it a lot easier & faster to get that floor up.

Travel Trailer RV owner too.Big motor home with double slides very nice and if that has Ford's V10 gasser you can easily tow the bee behind it.Saw the rear camera with a large RV is essential.A project,like remodeling a tiny home but when done will be fun.Getting mine out of storage now that campgrounds can open soon.BTW saw slides were closed but from years of motorhome experience if the slides doesn't have toppers get them.Trust me is worth every cent no dangerous climbing on roof everytime you break camp to sweep objects off top of slides B4 closing.Modern RV roofs slippery only time you want to be up there is checking seals and occasional repairs.Always remember keeping water and mice out is critical to RV lifespan.Happy Camping see you at state parks.🏕🔥Question is now when it is completed are you gonna for sure ditch the bricks & sticks,downsize and go full timer? Cause with a large rig with double slides you can🙇‍♂️I did.🇺🇲🇨🇦Lastly make sure you install a GPS specifically for large motorhomes.It will not send you into a situation that can go very badly and only buy toilet paper specifically for RV use.🧻

Nice job so far I really like the style and texture of that wallpaper I have a 35 ft Winnebago chieftain that I've done a complete remodel in the bathroom but I want to do hardwood floors and wallpaper and like you did pull that stupid chair out and that fold-up table I think I want to build a cabinet for my portable washer and dryer good job looks great

You can get melamine sponge on Amazon. It’s the same thing as magic erasers, just not name brand, and way cheaper! I love these videos it’s like HGTV for RV’s 😀👍🏻

I know I am behind but the only thing I see that kinda stands out in the speaker fabric. Now, when you show it, we only see the fabric & the wood of the cabinets. But the green stands out. I don't think with the smidge of doghouse you have left to cover, that it would be that big of a deal. Just trace you a pattern and Go For IT! LOL HUGS~Donna

When you wallpapered, did you overlay the old (after cleaning) or did you strip the old wallpaper off, prime the walls, then put the new paper on? -We have a 1999 (no slides) and looking to redo some areas...thanks!

I just overlayed. I don't recall if I showed it in the video, but the paper was peel and stick, and I also used spray glue. It's held up pretty well, just a few places where it periodically starts peeling at the seems, but I just smooth it right back on.

Did you know about all of the water damage when you bought it?

Sort of.. when I was looking it over, I did notice the water damage but it didn't present to be anything I couldn't repair, so I didn't let it scare me.. too much lol! Water damage is probably the worst thing you can find on an RV when buying one, but the location of it, just in that one area, and no evidence of any other whatsoever, around the rest of the coach or the ceiling, let me know it was a good investment. I was able to repair that area on the passenger side and have not had any problems since :)

Question, since I have the same year RV as you....there is a light switch in the water compartment. What does it do? Where is the light located? It does nothing 🤷🏻‍♂️

hmmm I assume you mean in one of the "basement" compartments, accessed from outside? I have not yet dug around in those much actually. I have a question for you though lol, every ceiling light in mine works, and has its own separate switch, except the one in the middle of the ceiling, the second one back from the front. Can't find a switch anywhere for that one, and it's the only one that does not come on. Any clue?? Should that one come on at the same time, with the same switch as another? I've even put new bulbs in and nothing.
