This is more informative than 99% of KZbinrs . I've been grinding this deck for hours on sim and at locals and it's the first deck in this game that has reminded me of fundamentals in other tcgs that I sort of lost. Keep up the content please.

Trashing. I never trash great eruptions but there's been times where I've had two ice ages in hand and trashed one and wish I had kept it. Second the 2ks not hard playing tashigi without immediate value. It's making me reflect on some close losses and then some close wins that could of been a lot easier. It makes sense

Also enjoyed the match up and cards to look out for. Most people are covering the big three but forget some of these rogue decks are contenders too.

@@Equippedlifter301 For sure. The rogue match-ups are super important because if you have no idea about the match-up in general. You lose. Like I said in the beginning Saka is not about doing the same thing every time. It is about knowing each match-up and how to play it. You run into Rosinante and don't know about the 2 cost blocker with Lucci, or know about the 8 drop kid with it. Its going to be a bad day.

@@Equippedlifter301 Awesome man! Im glad you found the tips helpful. I am still trying my best to refine my play. There are some mistakes that I make from time to time. A common one for me even though it is minor, I swing and commit my leader effect on a target and over-reduce the target in range. When perhaps that swing minus could have been somewhere else. Just playing optimally is super tough with the deck and that is why it is rewarding.

Insane informative video, i learned much, thank you. I would love that you continue this series into OP6, and to watch some matches even if its on the sim. Also I think sabo x2 is very consistent. Your decklist is very tight so i don't really know what I would replace. I'm thinking on another kuzan so only x2 each one, since you recicle it very often unless you are into yellow and on midgame. Any other toughts on the replacement for sabo?

I disagree on a bit of this, but I appreciate as much Sakazuki info as I can get and I like getting other Sakazuki player's perspectives. But yeah, especially when it comes to cycling your cards, I don't believe in any hard and fast rules. It's much more nuanced IMHO and really depends on the board state. But Hina is not always an auto cycle and sometimes you really do need to cycle a 2k. It really all just depends on the current state of the board and the match-up. IMO.

I respect your opinion but hina is not a auto trash imo in all instances, this being in specific matchups you need to hard play it, Prime example is against enel where you can get rid of anything with hina+borsa and establish two bodies. Morover, you can still lucci combo with hina and rebecca in hand and a lucci in trash, if you do have more lucci that does not matter but in some matches you might need to play more conservatively.

I’d agree to that. My hope would be by that point to wall up. But yeah, there’s times where I do. But by 10 Don in that match up I’m looking for Kaido if I have a blocker or two up. Or to wall up.

I really do agree on your takes regarding the cards that you shouldn’t be cycling. To make things simpler, you don’t trash the cards that you couldn’t pull back with Rebecca or Mansherry. Tashigi’s a bit of an exception as she’s 3c, but then you’re better off pulling and/or playing Hina or just generally pulling a 4c from trash than adding a 2k counter on your hand - unless you really need it.

Kuzan is auto win vs RP luffy, I. Your case you use red roc, if you got it Kuzan is not needed but for people that doesn't use it is the best card you can play

I think I like three thousand World’s a bit better than red roc, it’s tough since there’s so little room for tech in this tech. I’ve been messing around with one big kuzan and I really like it into yellow during the late game. I still have a really hard time in the pluffy matchup even though I know I should be winning it. I’ll just have to keep practicing, thanks for the informative video.

I'd say you undervalue Ice Age in some matchups, early game with low don you can really make some strong plays with it that you would otherwise not be able to.

@@tcgdiscussions2413 I guess it would be more if you have ice age > dont have eruption, hina, (basically reducers) its something that you highly value, and dont cycle. also sometimes theres early game plays where you cant remove the first character they have because of don limitations and then they play something else on t3 and when youre on 5/6 don having the iceage can make it so you can lucci both targets without the need of another reducer except your leader.

@@illeston3 yeah I auto value ice age a lot for those. Hina for 3 is a little awkward. But early in my opinion she should be searched. Late hina can be good. But I’m looking for Rebecca’s to play hina.
