I like adding metals too.... I sold all my gold when it was on its way up. I had about 20 ounces. I sold it off at 4-6 ounces at a time. The last of it went for a couple hundred lower than spot is now, but I still did okay and will have capital gains tax to deal with. (My first 1/10oz Eagle, I paid $38 to include the premium. Had I only known where they were going, I would have taken a huge loan out and bought a few hundred of them) I also sold a lot of my silver. I am working on building it back up, like you are, with a 100oz per year goal. I have a monster box of ASE's, one 100oz bar, and the rest is all in 10oz bars, which is the sweet spot I think. IF silver ever gets back to $35/oz then I will sell all the Eagles and stick with the 10oz generic bars and junk silver. My goal is 1000oz of generic silver and $500 face value in junk. (I am only at 350oz and $200 face currently, so I have a long way to go) Good video - glad to see someone posts real-world situations with their metals.

I love the 10 ozers nice hefty weight for a Great price. Sometimes I'll stick with 5 oz depending on the right premiums. I try to stay away from the collectables and numismatics for now

Glad to see you getting back to it. If you know why you're stacking, you'll have a much better time. If you are just after weight, then large bars are a good choice. It might be a better choice to buy Silver when it's cheap, and when you see the Gold to Silver ratio drop down to 75 or below, just trade in a bunch of your Silver for Gold. A lot of times, that's easier than just trying to save up the money to buy Gold. Whether or not you buy bars or Constitutional Silver depends upon why you are stacking. If it's just simple savings, buy big bars. If it's for some other reason like preparedness for a disaster circumstance, then you want more Constitutional Silver. It sounds like you're after just weight and savings, so I'd stick with big bars...the bigger the better. I hope you're successful in your second attempt. Keep up the good work!

Avoiding taxes is more important than avoiding premiums to me. Sounds like a good plan to save up to get bars when you can and get constitutional occasionally. ✌🏻

Great points made. If i was looking to make a quick hit under 500 (like this current under 30$ silver) the half dollars wouldnt be a bad pick for me. Over 500$, them bars look good or you could mix. Great video 👊🏿🥈

5,10,20 gram Gold Bars are a great way to build a Gold Stack with low premiums...Count your gold in grams silver in ounces always at spot and you will never be let down...

Get both. Space out the purchases. If you ever need to trade silver for barter, you will have junk sipver for that purchase. Use bars for land.

Canadian maples are usually lower premium stack a couple tubes of those vice higher premium eagles although random year silver eagles you can get lower premium

How do you say stack what you like however me personally I went heavy on American Eagles lots of constitutional and I do have several slabbed libertads which are more for looking at in my world however a lot of people seem to forget no matter what constitutional silver is backed by the US government. I guess take that for what it's worth being the government and all😂 and it is amazing and you're almost saying it, after stacking once before you know what you're looking for which I think is half the battle when it pertains to premiums

A tube+1 of American Silver Eagles, a kilo (because, well, kilo) and a few 10oz bars is my 2025 goal. 2026 will be the ASE (21), 30 or so ounces of generic, and some 1/4 oz gold coins. Constitutional silver runs the risk of some clueless person in the household SPENDING it. If that's not a risk for you, then go for it, but watch that premium.

I feel that the Florida sales tax on purchases under $500 is not fair. Rich people who can afford such big purchases avoiding tax and regular Joe and Jane get hit by the tax man. That's like some CA, NJ or NY shit.
