Everybody is pushing potatoes through a sieve nowadays, I think I potato masher gets them smooth enough for consumption. And you are missing out not eating the skin.

I doubt everyone is 😂 but it does work much better than a Potato ricer, but yes a masher or ricer both work well, a sieve is just on another level... and although the skins are amazing, they are best left on for crushed Potatoes not in mash 👍
