Yes on the spz sone, no need for a LC but season needs to be open, crabs on almost any tackle shop in the keys or maybe in your area you can find them, any tide will work, You welcome 💪

You don't need anything special really , I use combentional reels mostly, i have a explorer and navigator from COASTAL FISHING, a release lg and a shimano bait runner those are the ones i use! Any strong rod will do!
