Enjoy the saturn, it is a great system. I had a uk and japanese console with all the amazing shmups and fighters. My favourite game was Batsugun. The fighters which use the 4mb cartridge were simply amazing. The quake, duke nukem and exhumed games were teriffic too. So many good games i could mention. Dont forget keio flying squadron that was a cool platformer.

I remember buying Panzer Dragoon Saga for $59.99 at Toys R Us... I sold it on eBay in 2004 for $160. I still get sick thinking of that. I own the Japanese version now and even though I’ve studied the language for quite a few years, my Japanese is by no means fluent so it’s not the same obviously. Magic Knight Rayearth is easily the rarest Saturn game I own now.

Great Saturn Collection RGT 85! One game I would highly recommend to you to check it out if you can find it is "Astal"! Great Action Platformer with some excellent Graphics, Great music, Cleaver concept, and a Good challenge to boot. Definitely a Hidden Gem on the Saturn that never got the credit it deserves.

Yeah.. :'( he said he loves Ikaruga he loves the Saturn and he missed Radiant Silver gun... I'm so desapointed each time he talks about SEGA Saturn. RGT please don't rush your vids when you tlk about history... For instance Clock work Kingt is not a 2D but a beautiful 2.5 platefomer with amazing texture mappings.

Omg! I had a bunch of those games and I have such good memories of! Bug, Clockwork Knight, Battle Arena Toshinden, Command and Conquer, Nights, Croc, Die Hard, Daytona USA, Fighters Megamix, Fighting Vipers, Gex, Shining Force 3, Sonic Jam, Space Jam, Street Fighter The Movie, Street Fighter Alpha 1&2, Theme Park, Virtua Cop, Virtua Fighter Remix, Virtua Fighter 2, X-Men Children of the Atom, X-Men vs Street Fighter. I had every one of those games and loved them all. God I was an idiot getting rid of my Saturn. Biggest... mistake... of... my... LIIIIFE!!!! I'll eventually start getting those games again.

That was Saturn Bomberman Fight! It was the second Bomberman game for the Saturn, and was Japan exclusive. Bomberman Wars was also exclusive to Japan

I recommend the following, Gungriffon 1 & 2, battle garega, dodonpachi, dungeoons & dragons, virtual on, sega rally (best racer on system), last bronx, princess crown, golden axe the duel, in the hunt, virtual cop 2 and many others. I would need to go through my collection to find others to recommend.

I am relatively new to KZbin, and still getting my footing about the Personalities to watch. I can understand why kids enjoy it so much. Anyways, I am torn on this video. On one hand I like to see what ya actually have, but on the other I would rather ya spend time more on why you like something then the wasted time of eh.....eh.....this one sucks to. I mean if something sucks, why did it suck. If you love the Theme Park game, why did you like it? I dabble in retro collecting at times, but sometimes I wonder why do people collect games they think suck?

Michael Barnett I understand where you're coming from, and while I usually don't watch videos like this, something that I do tend to see is people asking about collections and seeing them and things like that. So doing a video like this shows people that their voices are being heard, and is an easier way to put out content for a day, especially when RGT85 sometimes puts out 3 vids a day. And while I definitely wish he went into more depth on why he disliked certain games, I feel like this video would be hours long if he did. Hopefully he makes vids specifically about some of these games in the future. Also, I imagine he bought some of these games before he knew they were bad, and now it may not be worth it to try and sell them. -Matt

Awesome collection. Shining Force 3 was epic. I had the 3rd part in jp and beat that game. Took me 100+ hrs to beat. There was a FMV voodoo zombie shooter game that was chessy but fun. Can't remember the name of that game.

I have a pretty good Saturn collection as well. I have all the Panzer Dragoon games including PD Saga. You're missing some real Gems like Darkstalkers 1-3, the Sega Ages collections and the capcom collections. Props for mentioning Darius Gaiden I don't think that game gets enough love.

Wish I would of bought a Sega saturn off a guy in 2002 for 160 cad dollars. He had around 40 games included. I tried it out for a weekend but decided not to as I wasn't impressed of lots of the games at the time. Edit: lukiegames is great. I have bought many games and refurbished controllers etc. for systems from them the past decade. They usually state if it will have a manual or case. If they have a selection, the ones without cases and manuals will be alot cheaper.

You can play Shining Force III part 2 and 3 using an emulator or a modded console. There are translation patches available on the internet.

I have Panzer Dragoon Saga and Shining Force III. I really want to play parts 2 and 3 of Shining Force. You should try Shining the Holy Ark. It's a semi-sequel to Shining in the Darkness on Sega Genesis and one of the coolest games

bought my Saturn in the mid 2000s for $80. modded. most of my games are CD-R copies off originals that I personally made. have a few originals from both north America and Japan. night Warriors (NA) and Vmpire Same (J) are are like arcade perfect. have a CD-R copy of PDS that is good enough for me. SOTN on SS is not bad as well.
