It's a shame that Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite could not build upon Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 in terms of fan-service, roster, character design, etc. I guess there's a reason why it's not part of the main numbered series.

Out of all the broken strings, Dante and Vergil ruined this game for me. It’s never fun playing as the underdog characters and being forced to be cheap just to KO Dante/Vergil. Still fun as hell, but it got boring playing against them every match.

as a giant proponent of this game, i totally dont blame you. every fighting game will have some sort of tier list but for this game specifically, the gap between top and bottom tiers is HUGE. theres no way that between 2 equally skilled players, a team made of hsien-ko/phoenix wright/shuma gorath can consistently beat a team of zero/vergil/dante.

I know MVC 2 is the classic and all... But for me UMVC3 is where they hype is. Game is broken and gimmicky as hell but damn, it is fun to watch. I will forever be grateful about how cool they made Dante's gameplay with how awesome his combos look, also they perfectly captured Deadpool's feel ... I don't know, I hate playing this because how cheap it can get, but at the same time I love it so much.

The second you said Sentinel and the way you said as you selected him I somehow instantly knew it was a really bad idea for you to pick Sentinel. On another Note I really miss a lot of these characters especially Dante, Wolverine, Dr Doom and Morrigan pity this first Morrigan seems like a novice at the character making her less of a fight than the average expert Morrigan I see.

This is one of those games where I love to watch it, but hate to play it. With how fast the game is, how crazy assists are, and how long some of the combo strings get, the game boils down to whoever gets hit first usually loses. There's no real time to observe your opponent, or formulate a strategy. It's typically who has the better flowchart, and who can land that all important first hit. Fun as heck to observe, but for my money, if I want to play a VS style game, I'll play the original MvC over 2, 3, or infinite any day of the week. Now if only MvC had the same size roster as the later games... (side note, I also feel like there are way too many ways to OTG in this game.)
