You can get a 58mm adaptor ring that is a bayonet fitting on to the front of the SX50. This makes it much better with the DCR150 or 250. I use a SX50 and DCR250 for macro work myself!

I LOVE these macro attachments. I am using a Raynox DCR-250 lens on my panasonic Lumix FZ200 and I get such good results. Bought myself a canon powershot sx60 HS on ebay today and I can't wait to try it out with my macro attachments, for I also ordered a Raynox DCR-150 lens. I also can't wait to try it out during my next zoo or wildlife trip through nature. Looks like such a cool camera and it will be my very first canon camera, for I have been using Panasonic Bridgecameras all the time. I just hope my canon arrives safely. Good videos, keep it up. I still cant Focus (bugs) with the full zoom (1200mm 60x optical) in handholding even less with 600 or 400 it goes insane to focus :c im using a lumix fz80/82, any tip to get better focus by handholding or i will have to think buy a tripode to use more zoom? Also how i know how many distance i have to be away for my target? Pd sorry about my english

Hi, I have a similar camera (SX530 HS), and have tried clipping a Raynox DCR250 to it, but there was no possibility to attach it. Are you using any sort of adapter ring on the Canon?

Pedro Andrade you need an adapter ring I'm not sure what size your camera is though

An old Japanese tripod my friend gave me, but anything that's not shaky when you camera is attached to it should do fine, $30 and up is usually a good price.
