Im on the ultimate and use identical settings dude. Jsut with the 23nm and lower the gain/ffb in game. I dont use smoothness or frequencies and tbh i never will. The simagic wheelbase dont make enough noises to even warrant using those and they arent grainy enough to use smoothness. When not using friction these wheelbases are incredibly smooth and fluid. Now using friction will add some fight instead of being so free flowing but that off there is nothing just smooth as butter. I do howverr believe the ultimate isnt as loose as the alpha mini is because the motor itself is stronger. So you may feel slightly slightly more restriction but in game naw its insanely good. I will say i use wheelspeed at 30 because from what people have tested its the same as 60 on the mini. So just a heads up. If you like 100 then try 50. So yeah you are probably going to like the same settings on the ultimate.

Thanks for the headsup! I've heard its a very fast wheelbase! I'll deffo start low with the WRS and work my way up

@@JACKZERYT awesome, I've not long got my mini so the settings you've provided really suit how I like ffb myself

@paulevans4216 oh I'm delighted, I will say try 50-60 Wheel Rotation Speed, it can give more stability and predictability

I have a newer alpha mini and like a few others have a lot of coil whine once the wheel has really warmed up, force feedback detail at 20 causes the base to be unbearably noisey, lower to 0 and it quietens with each step, also at 20 the actual noise from the wheel is odd even audible over the headphones... you haven't mentioned any of this so wonder if there are a number of faulty bases or it's just something some people aren't bothered about?

i think i had the same noise issue, also having detail on 20. I will try to play with it.

Honestly my friend, try the WRS at 0 and thank me later! Also, for iRacing the 360Hz setting needs the Feedback Frequency upped regardless of what Simagic state that it should be 0 (mine is 5). I'd love to hear your thoughts on these settings changes as I very much value your opinion.

Agree recently changed it to 5 as well, and much more alive. And WRS should be lower on bases like Alpha Mini, on Ultimate you can keep it quite high.

Right gentlemen, I gave it a test, and it does feel quite lovely, although I do like the loose pointy feel of it maxxed out, I'm gonna give it a crack and I'll continue on with the alpha ultimate too! I tried it in the porsche cup car and it's nice having a lower WRS, (I used 45 as 0 is just to slow), interpolation I just can't do, never could enjoy the feeling of it, I prefer a bit more raw and rugged kinda, interp. makes it seems a lil, soft or something. I hope your in the discord too (if you are sorry lol, lot of names) But if not make sure you join and we can share settings together, chat n chill!

@@JACKZERYT Thanks for trying it and glad you liked itz give a while and you'll not be wanting to revert to 100! Regarding FF, when iRacing enabled 360Hz setting it to 0 gave me deadspots and knocking. I got rid of them by upping to 5 and it feels much more consistent. And yes, I'm in your Discord :-)
