Remarkable to see Similar African culture in the Caribbean, South America, Souther parts of America and some parts of Mexico where Afro Mexican are found.

The use of _muratina,_ Kikuyu traditional beer, was left out because the parents are “Christians.” I was reminded of the wedding Jesus attended in Cana, as reported in the Christian Bible. When the wine ran out, Jesus supplied more wine for the occasion by miraculously turning water into the alcoholic beverage. BTW, wine has a higher alcohol content than beer and would get you drunk faster. There was really no Christian basis for leaving the _muratina_ out at this _ruracio._ Religious leaders have twisted the teachings of the Bible and mislead many people. A look through the pages of the Bible shows that the Bible does not forbid the moderate use of alcoholic beverages. What the Bible forbids is drunkardness or drinking excessive wine. BTW, the Bible also forbids gluttony or eating excessive food.😊

Miranda, spot on. Alcoholic beverages were always a part of such occasions. The only thing is that people needed to exercise moderation. What's even more ironic is that we are part of the ancient people that the bible speaks about. Its embedded into all bantu culture. We're returning back to our roots though, slowly.
