My sister tries to guess which Servants are gender-swapped in Fate/Grand Order [LIVE]

A while back I had my parents try to guess the True Names of Servants. This time I have my sister on to guess their original genders (and maybe their True Names as well).

@@hikarihakai1285 Not really. Servants get everything from the person and myth/beliefs about them. In Da Vinci's case his sheer pursuit of perfection, and the belief that the Mona Lisa represented physical beauty perfection makes the servant version a conglomeration of all the perfections in the perfect container (Mona Lisa). It's similar to Van Gogh, but differing scenarios to set it up

This was fun...but also proves a point of mine. These are all major characters from Myth & History...who should appear in _anybody's_ standard Education from Junior High up to Junior College level. I have noticed in these various guessing games, that people born 1980 and after have a hard time _knowing who these VIPs even were._ Let alone guessing who their characters are. Congratulations to your sister for guessing as many as she did...but you might gently suggest that she read a few books....

If it wasn't for Fate, I wouldn't know most of these people. Never learned any myths in school and only know the ones I do because that have enough influence for someone like Disney to make a movie based on them. And we basically didn't do much of World History and our American History was basically, "this is what the war was about, these are the results" for most of the class.

I think it could be useful to give multiple choice options from their region/mythology. Potentially little cheats and lifelines as well: Watch the NP, See one of their Lore lines, Hint: Story/Mythology They Originate From, A figure they knew in life.

Shame there are no comments. Hope your first one here has something that makes ya go and say, "Interesting." By the way, banana peels could be used to help with minor burns, the tide/waves on the shore either recede or start to rise before a tsunami, potatoes eaten with the skin on could give you the all the nutrients needed to survive a famine/apocalypse, and the added red dye in your food is probably crushed shells. (Looking it up is up to you on what kind.)

Small correction about d'eon she was actually trans in history

No, as I understand it, they were believed to have been intersex. Biologically neither male nor female. This is different from being trans, where one has a clear biological sex but a differing gender identity.

@@MW_Asura theres really no narritive to push here, d'eon lived their life as a spy that while typically fulfilling masculine jobs, i.e. fighting in the 7 years war, was widely notorious for being very androgynous to the point there was a bet going in london on their sex, they were later in life assigned the legal gender of female. The awkward part comes from the post mortem in which the surgeon certified that D'eon had male 'organs' she also had 'remarkably full breasts', if you think this is some kinda narrative, take your own advice, do some research, its in D'eons official biography written 1888.
