I noticed your routine includes products with fragrance and jar packaging. Would you consider doing or are you currently working on videos on these topics? Also, when you cleanse your face in the shower how long is it until you apply the rest of your products? I've always felt kind of stuck over whether to cleanse my face in the shower and risk it going dry if I don't apply products fast enough, doing my skincare before I shower or after? Many thanks 😊👍

Speaking of niacinamide... how about the different benefits amongst the different concentrations? We know it’s also considered a lightening component to certain topicals, does that only occur with a certain percentage or it just scales depending on the percentage?
@AnthonyYung_

Higher percentage of actives may increase their efficacy and achieve faster result, but at the same time it could be potentially more irritating as well.

Packaging is way more important than people give it credit for. I find myself resenting any cleanser with a screw top because I want to put the lid back on straight away but I've got one hand to do so. I go for cleansing oil over balms because a pump is so much easier! And as for actives right now I'm on a complicated schedule of tret for 2 days, nothing for 2 days, bha & vit c 4 days in the morning (bha nose only and no vit c on nose), and pha the 3 nights leading up to tret. It sounds mad but it seems to be working.

thank u for talking about PACKAGING and CONVENIENCE! i thought it was just me who hated jars, complicated things, etc. pumps, flip caps, etc. are sooooo important. convenience and efficacy go hand-in-hand for me. if it's inconvenient, i just won't end up using it.
@LabMuffinBeautyScience
@LabMuffinBeautyScience 4 жыл бұрын
I think good packaging is underrated - I really appreciate brands that are made by people who enjoy using skincare and have tried out a lot of products for that reason! Sometimes you can sort of tell that the person who chose the packaging didn't try using the product for long enough to realise it should never have been in a pump bottle, or a tube...

I personally use the Myolift as I had read some research on the difference between galvanic current (NuFace) vs. microcurrent (Myolift). Myolift is what they use in spas and while not for the 'lazy', it isn't difficult to use and they offer free training webinars. It's also cheaper, ironically.

For all my skincare products, I write down the date of when I open it and follow the PAO. I’ve seen some of my knowledgeable favorite skincare KZbinrs loving a particular product for one season eg.winter and then they store it away for the next winter even though the product is supposed to be used up within 9-12 months. How does that work? Is that okay?

One of the best channels about skincare! Michelle, have you heard of topical tretinoin causing meibomian gland dysfunction? I have suffered from that (even after stopping it 4 months ago, my eyes are a bit dry and I am prone to internal styes). I found many people on reddit that they noted eye dryness (or styes, blurry vision'...) related to topical tretinoin ( I didnt put around the eyes). I am a bit sad that this side effect is not taken into consideration and it didnt even appear in the leaflet of the product. Thank you for the videos!

I tried By Wishtrend's Mandelic Acid in my pits when it was almost empty and I started smelling less often. After I finished that bottle, I used benzoyl peroxide washes next.

Hi! I love your videos so much, and recently I had a doctor's visit and found out I have keratosis pilaris on my face and upper arms. What would be the best way to combat that? I ordered the Paula's Choice BHA solution, so I want to try that and see how it goes.

Thank you for your videos! I have a question though regarding toner. Should I include it in my skincare routine? If yes, AM or PM? In the evening, I am using (mild) Lactic acid for exfoliation, should I use toner as well? Thank you in advance for any help and advice! You are really great

Hey Michelle, I just found your channel and been binge watching your videos in hopes to educate myself and finding a skincare routine that actually works for me. I just had a question in regards to your 3 night cycle of actives. What do exactly do you mean by a 3 night cycle? Do you use an active every 3 nights?

Hi Michelle, what do you think of the Ordinary vitamin C powder? I mix a full scoop with a basic moisturiser. My skin doesn’t react too badly but I wonder if it gets absorbed effectively. I don’t notice a balling up of the product. Thanks.
