I used to sleep walk too but, I also sleep ate. I would get up and have an apple or a slice of bread. My whole family thought it was funny until I got up and, ate laundry detergent. I woke up in the emergency room and we now have baby safety locks on everything.

I’ve heard stories about sleep walking where people have to put dead bolt locks on their doors because their husband/wife sleepwalks and will walk right out the door if they’re not careful. Or putting knives away, though I can’t speak to the legitimacy of if a sleepwalker with a knife is really a common threat. If I had to guess I wouldn’t think so.

Dang. My brother was a sleep Walker. Honestly he was very scary cause he would act out his dreams. Usually doors open in and once he was having a nightmare and he was trying to run away he almost tore the doors down I mean they were broken just not all the way. I was taught early on at night you dont get close to him very dangerous. For us at first it wasn't too bad since my parents were bigger than him but he outgrew them it took both of them to keep him down. So since u seem like a calm sleepwalker that's really good. Cause it can be very dangerous.

My sister sleepwalking when she was really little. But you see I live in America. And our bio-dad was a huge gun fanatic. He always had a gun on his bedside table. And one time our mom woke up to see her 7 year old just staring at her, and mom not expecting it screamed. Well gun fanatic jumped up and fired his bed side table gun. He missed but scared my sister shitless. She never sleeped walked in to their room again.

I’ve never sleep walked, but I have had sleep paralysis. Only one time. I did have the feeling something dark and spooky was watching me from the corner of the room. The worst part was knowing I was just having sleep paralysis but it still felt so real! I’m a grown adult but I will admit I went to my mom’s room for a hug lol

I am in my 30's and I still sleep walk but not as often since I now know that if I don't get enough sleep the next night I will start sleep walking. I mostly just wander the house. The fridge light usually wakes me when I open it. a couple of months ago I remember getting up out of bed to go to the bathroom but I don't remember the trip to the bathroom. I woke up when my grandmother yelled at me. She was using the toilet with the lights out. 😬

Omg i also sleep walk and I have crazy stories too, idk if I still do cause lots of the times that I knew I was sleepwalking is because my family members were awake but most of them sleep a lot now and so I don’t know if I still do I feel like I still do because I wake up sometimes with like a pain on my leg or something like that but yeah I was really happy when I saw that you also sleepwalk because you know the experience connection is there :))

I used to sleepwalk a lot when I was a child. Usually I could not remember my sleepwalking episodes. However there was one time when I woke up in the middle of the night. I wasn't quite asleep but yet not quite awake neither. I was like "water... I need water...." I did go to the bathroom and I turned the shower on. Then I just let the water run and I just stared at the water. My mother heard me and came to look what I was doing. She found me and asked what I was doing. I only said: " water..." Mother knew then that I was sleepwalking and helped me back to bed.

Both me and my sister used to sleep walk though i don't do it now. One creepy gimmick i have is my eyes close but then when I'm asleep they open. They stay open the whole night till I'm about to wake up at which point they close again. Apparently, my eyes move and when someone's walking in the room : they follow in the direction of the person moving. It's freaky lol. I don't remember it as I'm asleep but this is what my mum and sister say happens. I now use medical grade skin sensitive adhesive tape at night to keep my eyes closed. I suffer with dry eyes and can't produce tears either which means my eyes are always bad. Lol. I've also had vivid night Terrors that felt real. Latest one I've had last year was throwing up violently in bed. When I woke i felt very sick and nearly did throw up but luckily i took one of my anti nausea tablets and was OK. Xx

Not sleepwalking but I remember waking up crying. Just felt beads of tears rolling down my face and I don't know why. Also I have several case of false awakening. And I remember one seiyuu's tip, if ever you're in a nightmare or false awakening. Just think of someone naughty ehem and you won't be scared anymore.

@@elca_liza7297 sleep paralysis is when you're really awake but your body is "paralyzed"; you can't move. False awakening is when you wake up in your dream. Everything around you feels familiar making you think that you're awake, but the truth is that you're actually still asleep ☺
